I changed battery and starter solenoid on mine gave it a jump and it was struggling to turn over so I hit the choke now it won’t do anything dead silence any advice?

*double check looks to be no washer on the ball joint

Sensor is on backwards

I have a conquest, pretty much the same. Took the pto off but the top pulley doesn’t drop down. How do I loosen it to slide the belt on? My tab is welded too.

When the upper crank seal leaks that bad, it's likely the crank bearing is toast. Pull it apart and check the play in the crank. Then the lower bearing goes. That is part of the sump. Youll need a new lower sump if a machine shop cant machine it to accept a bearing. I repowered mine. Also, some of those engines had a 1" crank and some a 1 1/8".

Hope you got it figured out by now but I just came across a video and he had an '04 and Country Cat recommended putting a spring behind that shaft (closer to center of the wheeler) in addition to his original issue. You need a clutch if it aint the shift motor

Did this fix your problem with gas in the oil, I have the same problem and also cylinder is full of gas and locking it up

Make sure the fuel pump is working and make sure the fuel filter isn’t bad.

Take the bolt out? That's supposed to be a pin at the front, not nut and bolt. That part isn't adjustable. Just tap the deck height switch if the motor is binding.

Where is the fuel pump? FI is going to need several PSI

FYI, the om648 is supposed to use the 5v Beru glow plug. The 11.5v show as the correct plug but they are not. They will work but can cause problems. Google some mercedes forums and you'll see what I'm saying. God bless brother

Love these cars. We had an 06.e320 cdi(om648) with 450k when it got totaled. So we bought an 05 to replace it back in 2016. Now it has 350k. Great cars.

In middle of replacing the radiator now which I forgot what holds condenser onto the radiator. Don't you hate it when coming back to working on a car after couple days and forget where I left off from lol.

What holds the a/c condenser onto the radiator?

They don't use primer it's just paint straight to metal

2002 foreman rubicon, fine in d1 and d2 but in esp it keeps skipping 4th, not sure why. No codes, replaced angle sensor, shift motor, shifting buttons for up and down, ecu. Not certain what the hell to do next
