Growing up in India, I remember my first exposure to Thundercats was through DD Metro which was syndicating some of the western TV shows like Captain Planet Phanton 2040 and Mummies Alive. Thundercats stood out, and still stands out in memory because of the refreshing sonic landscape that it created. The sword's power and abilities were communicated through all the sounds. The gurgling sound anytime the eye opened, the metallic swishes when the sword expanded, and Liono's Magestic voice. It didnt matter that the colour pallette used in thundercats was a littel faded an that we were using a CRT TV to watch it. It was a beautifully made show.

The fact that this script even event through is beyond me. Compare this to anime from the same age or Disney

Born in 76. Is 3 kids were told whoever got up first on Saturday got the TV for the morning. I made sure I was up at 5a.m. every Saturday. I always got the TV. Thundercats started at 6a.m. I watched it every Saturday. My sister n brother would get up bout 8 a.m. my sister would try watch care bears and that garbage. I wouldn't let her. I watched gi jo. Batman. Spiderman etc. hell even Ghostbusters cartoon. Voltron. Transformers. Saturday morning cartoons needs to come back

As a 80s kids Thundercats, Mask and Transformers were my favourites, I don’t know why they can’t make cgi movie ?

i am 49 now , It recalled my memories when I was 16 years old I used to watch with my brothers .. I never missed a single episode of Thunder Cats and Sliver Hawks.....What a marvellous cartoons they were.

Thundercats and tiger sharks two of my favorite cartoons as an 80's child and I still love them

80s kid can miss the food but not favourite cartoon as we don't have the option of watching re-telecast, highlights or RUclips/Google/website

The best part of this classic cartoon is when you hear that music come on and you hear Lion-o say thunder thunder thunder cat Hoooo it’s was over for them villains. You knew the villains were defeated I don’t if it was Mumra or his goons
