This was so fun! Can't wait to see more of Chelsea!
Omg 😂 I also have a guitar I got 12 years ago that I don't play!
too funny. Those creative dreams GO BIG haha
We will make it happen 🔥
Love your partnership. Thank you!--Tony
Uphill battle for the good of the whole! That’s why it’s called, “The Good WORK”!
UPHILL is right!!! But I will keep trying to push this UP. Many hands make easy work. THANKS L! -Tony
"I thought it was going to be so much easier..." lol every artist EVER 🤣 I appreciate you and everything you do SO MUCH, TONY!!!!
Appreciate you and grateful for your partnership! -Tony
This was such a great and fun episode! I recommend any filmmakers to watch if they are feeling hopeless in the industry as far as the people that work in it! Let's be the change the negative connotation that "networking" has! I LOVE networking because it means I get to meet new people who might become my friends, collaborators or coworkers!
Nice vid and channel! Will definitely be checking out more!
Great stuff! Lots of great info here. Also dig the podcast format. Just subbed :)
It was so great being on the show today! Thanks so much for having me. Look forward to coming on again in the future.
Favorite interview so far. Awesome job Shaun and Tony 👏🏻 🤌🏻
Thanks so much Brandon :)
As someone who is trying to get more into the film industry, podcasts like these are super helpful in reminding me that it is about relationships and hopeful in going after my dreams of being part of this amazing way of storytelling! Thanks BraveMaker fam and thank you Shaun for sharing your experience! 🎬🎥✨
Thanks for listening Gabrielle! You are already off to a great start building those relationships in the Bay!!
Thanks so much for watching :) Yes building your film family and continuing to expand your circle is a major key to this business.
I appreciate how Michelle spoke about the importance of hiring legal for help with film distribution because many indie filmmakers overlook this.
Wasn't she great! And YES! Filmmakers to not sleep on entertainment lawyers when you make your feature films. Grow your professionalism in the industry!
Helpful and enjoyable episode! I liked how Conrad spoke about business, brand, and strategy as a creative.
Very relatable topics! Great episode!
This is great! Tony, if you don't have a specific playlist of pod episodes to share with filmmakers that want to submit to film festivals, you should! ☺️
This was such a good conversation ❤️ I'm excited to see what you two come up with and what workshops you host around the topic of dealing with hard situations on set. ✨❤️
Beautiful 🥲
This was so much fun! Can't wait to read the final book ✨
What a memorable experience! I love this behind the scenes vlog-type of content! And it still barely captures the surface of everything you do for Bravemakers and story tellers! Thank you Tony for giving so many people voices, and great job Rich in capturing the essence of the festival 🔥
I enjoyed year 6 !! I still beat myself up that I couldn't attend year 4 in 2022 when I first heard about Bravemaker.
So good! Susan, you were amazing! Congrats!
❤
This was such a fun film to be a part of! Thank you Tony, Jessica and Devin for allowing me to work on this amazing project!!
I saw this at the chabot locals film festival on 8/31. I cried.
Thank you for letting us know. We wanted our short to help people feel seen and feel something..as well as inspire opportunities to have discussions.
@BraveMakerOrg I had pregnancy issues myself before having my 2. Getting pregnant was easy, staying pregnant was not. And I have a cousin who went through 5 tries of IVF. Her last chance gave her a son. If that didn't take, that was it. These situations happen so often but are never talked about.
@@jennifermorrill5184 So sorry for your challenging journey. Thank you for being willing to post about it. That's why we made the film. We wanted to create conversations--for hope and healing--while poking fun at how awkward it is for people to talk about it.
I'm so excited to see how you are evolving BraveMakers!! I wish I lived closer to be able to volunteer, and I will try to pitch in, too!! CHEERS AND BRAVO TO YOU AND YOUR TEAM!!!
I enjoyed this so much 😂
But what is it?
@@nilkrem1 It's a creative community. It's a film fest. It's an acting academy. It's a production company. It's a movement.
P.S. And one more: Tony’s voice-over is the next level 🚀 I can listen to it all day 😅
Hahah!!! Thanks!!
What a video! Wow! I can’t believe it was more than a month ago. It seems like it was yesterday ☺️ Rich created a heartwarming video! Very talented ❤and such a memory! Can’t wait for the BraveMaker Film Fest 2025 🥰🥰🥰
💰💰💰 support filmmakers! ✨✨✨ I know I do!
Helpful Tips. Thanks Tony!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 so many great tips! Sad I wasn't cast but oh so happy to see so many beautiful actor friends working!!! ❤️❤️❤️
🔥🔥🔥 Tony, you always bring so much value! ✨ I go to the master mind Mondays and I can say it is worth it!!! Even if you just come for a month to see if it's for you. I met one of the writers of Abbot Elementary!!!! ✨❤️✨ So cool!
Thank you Belgica!!! I recognize the same in you. I will be forever grateful you initiated that convo at Bay Area Mixer which lead to Creature Comforter which lead to SO MUCH MORE!!!!
Great advice!
THIS IS CUTE... A PREVIEW FOR THE THE REAL MOVIE FOR INVESTORS
Excellent!!and fun..short and sharp.great acting…the music is not my cup of tea,but ok…don’t mind.I don’t wanna be invited to sit on this sofa!😅
If you're reading this, join me in donating $10 a month ✨❤️ I'm an actor who honestly doesn't make that much money, but I love the work BraveMaker does so I've been giving $10 monthly since the 2023 film fest.
You are an incredible person Belgica!! Thank you.
Submitting for next year!
Hey Tony I like that you asked that question about how the girls were selected. I am one of the 25 families which my daughter was apart of the documentary but our story got overlooked because it was told that the film producers only wanted 4 girls which is why Angela is speaking on a 5 girl that she wanted present due to her lovable energy and not more so of the relationship she was trying to create with her father, when in reality they didn’t know the narrative of all 25 stories. I feel as though this film is a good film that speaks value but have underlined conditions that was told to the daughters and mothers that this documentary would not sell but in reality that was to fit the narrative of what Angela felt due to being discouraged and all the mothers that embarked on the Sundaze Festival told her to claim it when she was unsure about our stories worth. Although we was giving this great opportunity it is still families that are unaware that they are in this amazing film that they played apart of while Angela Girls for Change organization is making a profit off our daughters stories when in reality she was not there for the film shooting which all the credit should go to Natalie and Lisa and the camera man Cam that came to DC to film when Angela was nowhere to be found. I feel that all the proceeds should go to all the families and not girls for change because our daughters never was apart of girls for change organization. If you want to see change you have to make a change because all the stories matter not just 4 that Angela picked because some are still battling with their own trauma and relationships with their dads which Angela still not looking at the bigger picture that after this film these girls go back to real life situations while they collecting a check off these 25 girls stories that some was not highlighted because they was young and didn’t have the mental capacity at the time to express themselves . I think you should interview the daughters so they can share their own story and not listen to what the media wants and hide behind false accusations.
I think hearing or knowing all 25 stories would make a great story too. I would want to hear from them.
❤❤❤
"Create, don't wait!" Yes!!! Thanks!
