Very informative video! Even the background sounds that the microphone picked up while you were recording in the courtyard (the train going by or the car starting) actually add a nice touch to the audio. It wasn’t obnoxious or overbearing, and I’m sure if someone didn’t want those sounds in their final product it would be fairly easy to clean up and filter out. I’d like to see a test passed on the distance that the microphone is from the subject. It sounds really good and crisp when you had it close, but for example if you were shooting a larger scene, how far could you bring it away from the subject/talent (outside of the camera frame) while maintaining a clear audio recording?

Way too much camera shake, it made me dizzy. You do need some shake to show the stress of the character, but it needs to be more organic than that.
