"I am afraid of fighting, afraid of getting hit, and afraid of losing. More than losing in a fight, I fear surviving as a crippled and ruined person. Yet, I still seek out new formidable opponents every time."
The kyokushin style is still the worst out of the popular karate forms
BRUCE LEE WAS IN A FILM ENTER THE DRAGON FILMED IN 1973 AND HE HAD A FIGHT WITH HARN IN THE HALL OF MIRRORS AND BRUCE LEE SIDE KICKS HARN SO HARD THAT HE WAS SPEARED THROUGH HIS OWN BODY AND SADLY BRUCE LEE DIED IN JULY IN 1973 FROM A BRAIN SWELLING AND HE WAS THE GREATEST MARSIAL ARTIST WHO EVER LIVED 😔
Mr., get a dictionary and LEARN the pronunciation of the different Styles.
But Jai whines. He said he has it harder as a black man in the year 2000. Big Whining B’tch.
Dude was a master of his own style in his 20s. His own style basically became MMA
Johnny is the best
“John Frodeno”
This people have perfect white teeth and perfect symmetry, amazing
The Strongest Man To Ever Walk The Planet And Also The Goat 🐐💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🇱🇹🇱🇹
"he managed his career to avoid burn out and excessive competitión " *competes at the highest level 300 times in less than 20 years
My practice motto. MELLIUS OPTIME. (Natural Medicine Practice), Even after over 30 years I am still learning, developing, innovating all the time. Learn from the best. So to avoid the same mistakes they made. Then seek to improve on them. The best is never best for long. Remember there is always room for improvement. Even if its a tiny amount. There is always someone better. If you meet them learn from them. Over time these tiny improvements accumulate. This is how world records are broken and made. A fraction of a second at a time. As Bruce Lee. says in a similar way. Accept what works and reject what doesn't. The philosophy can be applied to many areas of work, life, practice, sports, martial arts, The important think to note. Is once you have made an improvement, tested that it works. Is to see how can I make it even better and so on. Not looking to challenge others, but yourself. This will help you constantly evolve, develop your and enhance your skills. It is not just the physical, emotional but spiritual development too. It takes time.
It's the artist not the martial art...
Trained in Kyokushin Karate style in the 1980's NSW Australia I would have liked to have met Mas Oyama
He died flesh bone cancer just a man toughness yes but mortal man
I had one book by Mas Oyama This is Karate which I presented to Karupiah my Indian friend from Padang Meiha Estate Padang Meiha 6:55 te
His more typical Korean size , significantly taller and bigger than the average Japanese one , no doubt helped him.
Tru,mas Oyama fighting vs Bull you can find RUclips
Definitely up there but I would say Brian Shaw is the greatest as he has progressed strong man for what it is now. Big Z definitely has the best on paper and it’s hard to say there is anyone else that compares, I just prefer Brian which I know is controversial
No way, Zydrunas has also 8 Arnold Strongman Classic titles, the most by far
me aburro!
Oyama is the reason I study Karate.
No doubt about one of the best there ever was, very kind man met him more than once at Arnold helping with competition set-up,and don't forget this man is still at it
You met him? It would be a pleasure for me, this man is a real legend!
Met him through Steve slater who's in charge of all strongman events,I was helping back then it was first ever Arnold classic strongman Mark Henry won it
Killing bulls😅 what bull
Oyama vs Prime Tyson, or present Tyson, who wins- and why?
Wow! It would be a clash of titans, I can't predict the outcome... but you can find out more in one of our next videos where we'll talk about Tyson's life
Oyama 65 do 35 Tyson,
Oyama better fighter
Well, if the guy can literally chop of bull's horns, providing the footage is of actual bulls and it's not edited, Tyson was strong, but he didn't disarm bulls, one chop from that to the neck even conditioned Tyson is falling like a sack of Potatoes.@@WorldsGreatests
@pauljohnson6019 I agree with all of this! A guy who can break a rock with his hand really can't be easy to have an attack contained. The problem is that to break the opponent, he needs to hit him, and Tyson, as one of the best in his field, was an excellent dodger and had a massive fist. I know Oyama was very strong and resilient, but I don't know how well he would do in the event of a confrontation with Tyson. It's really a case of dreaming about this fight, I've seen occasions where a weaker fighter was "lucky" and beat a superior opponent, anything is possible in a fight, which makes martial arts such an incredible world. If you want to know more about Iron Mike, here is the video I posted about him a few days ago: ruclips.net/video/T7mZX5w7Y2s/видео.html
I had a book from him given to me by my sensei a friend of my wanted to borrow this book. So I give it to him so he could read it The friend moved to another town and I lost track of of him, just recently I saw him on face book and asked about my book he told me that he didn’t has the book . This book was given to me by my 7 th degree black belt (kung fu sensei) who got killed in a car accident in the Netherlands
Ah, karate didn't help him there, did it?😅
I am sick. Of all. The supernatural people, that did this and that, and that no one could beat them, and they were 0:23 fighting with bears, and lions and I Do not know what else, all these were mortal men with flesh and bones, who were just ahead of their times, in. How to train, the fitness side of things e. t. c, and all this different approach to training back then had these. Results,
Oyama fought in the Second World War for Japan a war hero, It's sad that when created Kyokushin Sensei Oyama are a Old man he must have fight a lot in his prime.
Good to see some of the early Big Z footage
Yeah it's really hard to find it! Thanks for watching
myths not facts, even his students never saw him fighting. Ox not a bull and the horn was weakened by a cut
It would make a great movie, being a true story.
Yeah! I would love to watch this film, with current resources it would make an excellent story and great action sequences

Just want to to say osu to master oyama the greatest karate master ever .
I strongly recommend you read the words from Jon Blumming to learn the truth. The legends about Oyama never happened.
haha Bluming spoke nothing more than lies that come from grudge against Oyama, he wanted the whole organization from him and that was the reason why he spoke lies about Oyama, i even have proof of Oyama doing those things that Bluming told were untrue, like for an example that the bull's horn was tampered with and about how it was drugger completely false the video that was i've seen the full video with audio where it clearly shows that the bull was not drugged as it was furious when fighting with Oyama and no Oyama didn't slash the horn off the bull he repeatedly hit the horn until it became a little loose and he just ripped it out, ruclips.net/video/UypCCjr4-1U/видео.html here is the truth ruclips.net/video/t7GeqRQekFA/видео.html here is another video
@@minecraftkingest4116 you have proof of the bull fights? Then prove it! The ONLY film is here on RUclips and it’s a joke! There was no video back then , only films. Please show this mystery film that no one else has seen. Sadly, EVERY martial art fad has a Superman who can defy the laws of physics. Problem is, they really can’t.
@@Markt005From what I have read the bull that Oyama killed was already very sick. He did it as a stunt but later he regret it and never do that again..
@@minecraftkingest4116Well it's Sad we never will know the Truth, Would be nice if Oyama sensei give a interview in EUA when he are alive Jon seems a Hater lol.
@@DouglasGomesBueno-jw9lh ofc he is a hater he started talking shit about Oyama when he died and got most of his false information from Kenji Kurosaki who was mad at Oyama for his loss against the Muay Thai fighter when it was obvious that the two other people he went there with were much better fighters that he was but he thought that he would be better just cause he was their senior
Hello from algeria and OSS
Oss!!
😂 damn that guy really wanted a steak
How would he go against Bruce Lee…?
Bruce Lee was a fan of Mas Oyama and he is nowhere near to Oyama
Bruce had no proven significant fight wins. I don't know about Oyama
@@stevo62ful Mas Oyama would kill Bruce Lee in an instant people have no idea how powerful he really was
Bruce Lee would win !
@@nostradamus522 man of you do any martial arts just give up, delusional people never succeed in it
@1:55, what film is that?
It's "Fighter in the Wind"
ruclips.net/video/VSwKgDAg8KI/видео.htmlsi=e3bLM86SRoje9WN3
I have the book, "This is Karate". It's very comprehensive. I recommend it to anyone interested in the martial arts.
I'm sure it is, the master Oyama really knew how to transmit his vast knowledge. Thanks for sharing this with us!
This record can never be duplicated; ever.
Yeah that's true!
No mention about Simo never used a scope in battle. Was he a sniper or "just" a marksman? ;) He also used a MG and "suomi KP" witch means finnish MP and kills with those are not counted in hes 5 o 5 kills if im not mistaken. Thanks for vid anyways <3
He really is a LEGEND!
He was not captured in his village rather he was captured after desertion as an auxilary soldier in the roman army.
Thank you for the correction! We were following the popular tradition regarding this part of his story, but indeed there is little historical evidence for that narrative. We'll leave your comment pinned, thank you very much!
He was not captured in the last battle. His body was never found, thus lifting him to higher status.
