Hey guys!! Literally uploading this in the middle of the night where I am since my body refuses to go to sleep right now :/ thanks for all the love on my previous uploads and hopefully you’ll also enjoy this compilation 💕
Me watching these right before I write my novel so I have motivation:
2:14. I feel you 😭😭😭 I’ll search something up and it will come up with a differnet thing 😭
My family has found 2 different dogs this year that we have been able to find owners for. I’m on multiple pages for lost animals and where I live, the most dumped dog are huskies and it breaks my heart
These always give me so much motivation to write, thank you
love this cozy compilation

2:29 This person has the most perfect handwriting in the world
i just want my book to be someone’s favourite. just one person is enough.

6:57 I don’t care that mine is a fanfiction it’s going to be longer than the first Harry Potter book, it counts Following a second murder of Count Olaf in the Village of Fowl Devotees, the Baudelaires find themselves separated and scattered across the Hinterlands, on the lam, missing, and presumed dead. Violet is forced into more and more morally questionable situations as a means to survive as she searches for her siblings, while Klaus searches for the truth and the mysterious letters behind every unfortunate event that’s happened to them. He quickly learns that the truth isn’t always the easiest answer.
I love these writertoks they are the ebst
3:36 i know i will ball my eyes out when i finish my book cus um.... Erm..... My favourite character (yes i have favorites now hush) yeah well he dies trying to save the woman he loves bjt thats not the point
LETS GOOOO!
one thing that isn't stated enough with writertoks is you don't necessarily have to write a novel or a book to be considered a writer. writing takes on both a digital and physical form, and can include basic poetry and little short stories. as long as you write, and keep writing, you're a writer. <33
exactly!!<3
1:20 is from Tumblr
2:39 this is kind of funny but im also turning 15 in november
Loved this ❤
thank you!🫶
0:43 Felt that prayer in my soul♥️
Please keep posting these! 🙏🏻 it helps me feel like I am not alone and helps me improve my writing. The writertok shorts on RUclips kinda suck and I am not allowed to have TikTok. So anyways, you are appreciated ❤ don’t stop doing what you are doing 😊
thank you, i love making these videos!! ❤
5:14 just bookmarking for myself don’t mind me ❤
Y'all, I hate to admit this, given how much I love writing and aspire to be an author, but I'm writing my second novel, and I feel like I'm not getting the same angsty thrill as before. I love nothing more than to keep talking about how much I love the plot and all of the plot twists, however, actually writing it feels like a chore at times. I can't tell if it's because I've been so busy with school and sports, but even when I'm free, I'm never in the headspace to write. Am I losing my spark? Has this happened to y'all? What's going on?
I can definitely relate, right now being super busy with school I'm rarely in the headspace to write. I can't give you a definite solution, but I'd recommend trying to build a routine and writing ten minutes every day at the same time or every other day whatever fits you best. If that doesn't work at all, you can always take a long break and come back when you feel more like writing again. Good luck, you're going to get through this!❤
How the heck to people write 2000 words in 1 hour but it take me litteral DAYS to write 500 words 😭
You know, word count doesn't really matter when you write. As long as you write it serves the purpose of the story, it's fine. I can write 2000 words in 1 hour too, but most of the time it's just nonsense and for the sake of my ego. Not really served on my story I write and yeah, don't feel bad you can't write as fast as others (a.k.a Tiktok video who doesn't even dare to show word count at that work)
it takes me weeks to write 100 😭😭
that's totally normal, i'm also a slow writer!!
I range from 4000 in one night to 50 in a week girl it just depends on inspiration and motivation
I LOVE UR VIDEOS UR THE ONLY ONE WHO POSTS THEM NOWWW
ALL HAIL THE ONLY PERSON WHO STILL POSTS THESE 🙏🙏
AMEN. IVE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR ONE I HAVENT WATCHED TVT
i commented the same thing on an earlier vid
@@anonymousblobfish9899FRR. AND ITS NOT LIKE THE LAST PART WAS 3 YEARS AGO
Napoleon Spurs
the next scene im writing for my wip: Project ASC (A Second Chance) is my MC's human mother and human friend finding out their daughter and best friend (the MC) did NOT get killed by magical beings (Velai) but instead IS a Velai herself :P
writing the reveal of a twist feels so rewarding :)
The next scene i'm writing is in my current wip, project falling from high places. the next scene is the mc becomes wanted by the police, and she decides to go on the run because nothing else is left for her :D
that sounds exciting to write!!
👏all rise and hail to the only creator that still posts these👏
FOR REAL, theyre the only one who still feeds my addiction
Nice video! Made me inspired to write!
This is really unnecessary but I felt the need to share. A year ago I tried to write a novel and I had such a hard time with it and the writing style changed so much the more I wrote. I tried again this year, new story, and I don’t know what happened but I hit 11k words a few weeks ago, the writing style has stayed the same and that’s because I’m connected with my characters. It’s my longest and my favourite story I’ve ever written. I also find it encouraging to have someone read it and if they like it keep reading it. It’s like a little excuse to finish a book. Good luck writers ❤️
Thank you for sharing! I also started a lot of stories without ever finishing them and had to get much better before I found my style and a story I absolutely loved and had to finish. The more you write the more you learn and the better you get. Good luck with your novel too 🫶
Watching this instead of writing
What’s the program at 0:54?

me watching this just before I begin writing a novel:
good luck!💜
@@lilyofthebooks thanks a lot! I’m 4 chapters in <3
Tips for any writers out there, use the pomodoro method. Its mainly used for studying, but it can work here. Essentially, you write for 25 minutes, take a 5 minute break, and repeat. its worked for me, and if yoh look up "Abbie Emmons writing playlist" she does this to with some music and alarm bells, and i love it
i love that method, thank you for the recommendation
Thank you so much for mention @AbbieEmmons- I've been following her for a while and I can say it's okay. I finally found, in her "writing group", a place where I can feel free to write and change impressions.
i finished writing the prologue for my first actually good novel today! i have plenty of abandoned works and half-hearted plans, but for this one i did two sessions of planning and then did a lot of editing on my very bad first attempt at a prologue. i rewrote many sections but i'm finally happy with it! it's two pages long and i also wrote a paragraph of chapter one. i hit 1k words on it!! go me!!
I finished the first chapter of my first draft yesterday :D
congrats, that's so exciting!! 💚
Me watching all of the publishing TikTok’s as a fanfic writer who doesn’t plan on writing anything original or publishing: *hm interesting* 😃
this is such an underrated channel.
thank youuu 🫶
Whats the music at 4:14?
should be IDK You Yet (Cover) by Bertie Newman
i love your videos sm!! 🫶 im about 74k words into my current wip !! it's about a detective and a journalist from nyc working together to solve the case of a girl who went missing 3 years ago without a single trace (thats a very simplified summary lol, i could give you the full summary if you like!) 💗
that sounds really good 😮 what’s the title?
@@cherrytea_afterdark aw thank you sm! 😊 rn it doesn't have an official title but im hoping to try think of a few possible ones soon! 🫶
@@skywalkernation it does sound like a really good story idea. I’ve been writing mainly fan fiction but I have a few book ideas too :)
@@cherrytea_afterdark that's so cool!! wishing you the best of luck with all your writing 🤍🤍
@@skywalkernation aww thank you :3 hope your writing goes great too
When I saw the one of that family all writing together, my jaw dropped. I wish that was me so much! I don’t know anybody that actually writes books and I’m so sad!
i feel you, it would be so cool to have writer friends in real life :(
I write in 3rd person, and I don't stick with only one character's POV, but that's because it's my writing style. Some editors aren't really pointing out mistakes but criticizing a writing style. Who else writes in that style? I'd like to know, because I've heard to not do it and now I don't know who to believe
A lot of successful authors write that way and I don't think there are ever set rules for writing, it's so individual and you should always pick and choose with what advice to take. I think generally writing more povs is harder and therefore it's easier to make mistakes. Chances of getting published might be harder with different povs too but I personally believe you should stick to what you enjoy writing and not think about publishing too much :)
