Yeah, works great! Also surprsingly reliable, most turbo snowbikes here have 100+ hrs with no issues or rebuilds. The clutch is the only part that needs mainrenance. Friction discs and plates last 50-80 hrs but they are cheap and easy to replace. Unfortunately, not a lot of videos of it on YT but some on facebook. Surpriced that de dont see more snowbikes, espesially in the US or Canada?

I’m runnin 0,5 bar boost. Double clutch springs. No other engine modifications, standard 11,8:1 compression ratio. Run on 102 octane fuel. Have previouly tested 0,7 bar with custom low comp piston, stronger studs. My conclution is that its not worth the effort. Just go for 0,5 bar and skip all engine modifications. Peak power will be just slightly lower and with the same reliability.

This turbo kit is unfortunately not built for road or dirt. The bike is for a snowbike. The rear wheel and swing arm is replaced with a track kit. A wheel won't fit because it will hit the turbocharger and intercooler. Had a rigid strut instead of the chock during this dyno run.

The intercooler location works ok but maybe I would like to have more snow spray on it to get better cooling. Airflow under the rear fender is as you know limited....

Nick Rodgers No the gsxr 1000 is between 160 to 200 hp depending on the year. And all models have more torque. This machine probably don't way more than 200 with fuel.

Emil Muhrman and again the new fuel injected 4 stroke sleds are puttiing down more then 250... someone whos good with an engine can pull 450 easy out of a sled.

Nick Rodgers You can put a turbo on the gsxr and easily get that power as well.

Emil Muhrman youll need alot more then a turbo to reach a 450hp threshold bud.. its a cool conversion but it will never keep up with a big sled

Nick Rodgers The 1000 cc engines in sportbikes is lot more potent to tune the the ones in sleds.
