She called grinder "sniper" a couple times in her daughter bedroom I wonder if that was the first name they had for his character
It was. In the webisodes and a couple early videos he was originally called Sniper until around the first series in 2014 where he changed to Grindah. They mentioned it a cre times in 1xtra interviews and joked about why they had to change it 😅

I can’t tell you how mad I am this isn’t on Netflix in the States anymore. Heck all the great BBC stuff is gone. Toast of the Town, etc… PJDN is one of my all time favorites.

@DaleSteel Well it is a pilot as far as I know since it was made for the BBC in 2012 as a one off and basically debuted their first ever appearence on TV. Then 2 years later they had their first proper series.

This isn’t a mockumentary at all. It’s purely a reenactment. Love it. Glad they made it big . The movie is top 5 movies of all time for me personally.

Being from up north, I knew a group of 4 or 5 lads from london, that had all moved up here. I swear to you they were EXACTLY like this lot. They even had their own rap group called musical gang. Imagine for a moment just how these lads looked surrounded by northerners xD
