I live in Europe- I am 50 and just started HRT, with added testosterone. Everybody around me thinks I am crazy, it took me 4 doctors to get HRT and never found a doctor who would prescribe me testosterone so I use my partner’s just as the host said here on this video. Unfortunately doctors are mostly clueless! So glad that we have youtube and knowlegdeable doctors are willing to share their valueable information ❤❤❤

Thank you ladies for all this great info! I’m seeing a urologist for the first time in a couple of months to discuss testosterone for low libido. Don’t try Addyi!! I went on it and was fine for 2 weeks then got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of night and I Ihad a racing heart and almost passed out. My blood pressure went way low. I don’t recommend at all! I was on compounded testosterone in grapeseed oil 2.5 mg to use on my clitoris first for 3 weeks then apply to wrists. Libido was great then all of a sudden went down. I blamed it on major life changes and stress and stopped testosterone. My gyn was all for Addyi she raved about it. Didn’t work for me. Now my sex drive is slowly coming back on its own. Life is calming down a bit and I’m able to think about sex more. After all your mind is your biggest sex organ right? I still want to keep the urologist appt to discuss testosterone again because I’d love to have an even better sex drive for my myself and my husband. I’m post menopausal and husband and I have always enjoyed a very loving and active sex life and I want it to continue. It’s a very important part of my life. If the doctor can please answer this question- I’m vey healthy bloodwork is great but I’m concerned about my cholesterol going up. Does testosterone cause total cholesterol and LDL to go up? My triglycerides and HDL are great. Thank you so much for any help. My dr appt isn’t until Jan 3rd so any advice and help is much appreciated thank you!

Most doctors are clueless, especially the role of diet and health, and would rather prescribe a pound of cure rather than a pinch of prevention.

I don’t know how Caroline has kept a straight face! I genuinely wish I had the facial control and the grace to allow others to voice their ideas when I feel so strongly against them. Well done Caroline! I am little concerned that others may listen to her (the so called nutritionist) and not appreciate the importance of a Keto/carnivore diet to managing autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular, mental abilities and obesity. Her out-dated knowledge of how bad fat and cholesterol is for our body when in fact it is imperative when hoping to avoid cardiovascular disease or dementia. I’m aware Caroline knows this, I am just putting this here so if anyone is reading the comments they get more of a perspective on the nonsense being talked by this nutritionist. It almost feels like she is trying to ‘slim’ shame Caroline. Implying she needs to relax more and she is only eating the way she does for vanity’s sake. Hmmm!

This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t respond to emails. I made a purchase of $273 and when I shipped the items back, they refunded $250 and gave no explanation and still won’t respond to my emails. The pillow? Too thin, and I am small. When you turn to the side, the top part of the face goes in the cradle but the mouth and chin smash on the lower part of the pillow. I have a very small head.

This is based on what evidence? What studies say that long term brussel sprout (or other brassica vegetable) consumption is detrimental to health? Why do studies tend to show benefits from eating vegetables? Why are low level toxins necessarily bad, rather than strengthening?

I guess that depends who you follow. If you follow someone who doesn’t like Oxilates. It’s all very confusing. So kale is off the hook: it only contains 17 milligrams of oxalate to spinach's hundreds of milligrams of oxalate. Spinach and other dark green leafy vegetables like Swiss chard are oxalate dense vegetables. These green foods, although with healthy benefits, are the ones to be concerned about over-consuming. The good news is that cooking spinach drastically reduces the amount of oxalic acid found in one serving. According to Food Revolution Network, Steaming spinach has been shown to cut the oxalic acid by 5-53%. Steaming also allows the spinach to retain its folate content, a B-vitamin that helps your body produce DNA.

I had hormone therapy through pellets 2 weeks ago. I am 60. Got weary of the horrible night sweats. It has helped everything. I am sick of doctors not treating women. They sure treat men who get viagra so simply. A good spa tech takes your blood and checks it again. If you are tired of suffering..trust me.

Hi, given that the Nivea cream has paraffin and stays on the face for a long time, is it necessary to apply it every day or every other day or even after two days? Let me start by saying that I cleanse my face from time to time because I am of the opinion that detergents in general are harmful and that they deplete the hydrolipidic film, I only put on the moisturizing cream, perhaps even only after having sprayed some water and that is all that my skin needs to feel good! Going to the previous question, is it necessary to apply cream every day in the evening? Thanks in advance for any response...

I actually feel bad for the millions of Vegans who think that plant agriculture is saving the planet and it is actually destroying the top soil and poisoning the the water water supply with toxic runoff from herbicides and insecticide and chemical fertilizers. Farming without chemicals you must use animal, poop to replenish the soil and rebuild the bacteria in the soil, That is why regenerative ( ranching) is the only sustainable future for humanity. Whether we like this or not it is the truth.

doc, I’m on HRT, I have a great doctor. lately tho I’m getting the sweats as soon as I wake up and several times a day now, when the temperature hits above 73, sweats, If I eat a warm meal, sweats. after a couple sips of iced coffee, sweats. Any advice? I really don’t want to give up coffee, it just seams hard to accept that I can’t have coffee anymore. Also, I’ve been really tired a LOT. There is a lot going on with my family right now, both parents are aging with no real retirement, one has heart issues, and I have a younger brother with epilepsy I’m preparing to care for. Could this be stress? I don’t “feel” stressed but if I’m being honest I can’t remember the last time I had real fun.

For all the chatter and poo-pooing of instant oats, any oats are still very good for you. It's about the additives and sugar, not the form of it. If quick oats or instant oats are right where I am or that's all I can get, I simply go for it. Same thing with any other type of porridge I might want to have, like grits or "Cream of Wheat". Few of us are that sensitive to the differences for blood sugar levels.
