Dave built this ramp with a couple good friends Johnyboy & Rod Baker in 89-90? we were hired by one of the famliy members of "Nabisco" to build this for their 10 year old son Cosmo for his birthday. some kids have all the luck....there were alot of goodtimes had on this ramp with friends...

I loved that park. I remember looking up to all the X21 guys and seeing all the pros when they were in town. I bought a few decks from Mickey Reyes. I had no idea at the time those guys were probably selling there product for beer money. Good times. The best part was seeing Noah Salasnek rippin the bowl and a week later watching him snowboard at Boreal.
You sure have stuck with it for a long time. Haven't your hips hiven out at all,?

compellation footage from the grind 93 to 99 i tore it down and donate all lumber and materials to clearlake ca and built them a 10.000 sq ft outdoor park for free... built by skaters for skaters...

I went to The Grind a lot with friends. Amazing place. Had family in Sac. Entered CASL contests and met tons of people from Eric Brockman, Biebel, Mike Rafter, Ryan Parsons, Bobby Sbabo, Gabe, to the local youngster kid Bernie. Rad to see the old clips. I am now carrying the tradition on a smaller scale and have a skateshop in Livermore with a half pipe. Cheers. -Jeremy Morgan

Awesome! I used to go here when I was a little kid! I grew up in San Jose, but Mom was from Roseville so she'd always take me here on grandma visits.

So glad I found this video! I used to skate (inline--don't hate, lol) here all the time. Great memories. I was so bummed when they closed.
