I literally just found a big Thai monstera for $24 and those used to be so expensive around where I live

i ry to be in it, focus on enjoyng new growth and care

the pressure to spend so much money on plants and needing all the cool ones is tough but i try hah

It’s especially difficult when you are first getting into plants you want to fill every space in your house with cool and unique textures! I agree with you completely it’s important to go slow, enjoy growing and caring for a few and learning what it actually takes to care for a plant baby

I think you would love colocasia black coral, senecio angel wing and black zz plant. I have them and love them deeply. I also think alocasia pink dragon and alocasia zebrina with black stems are goth enough 😅
