I take my wife's car on the track

We were at Virginia International Raceway for a charity event. I bought a track session for my wife's Subaru Ascent... now known as the middle aged WRX... It did surprisingly well considering it has a CVT transmission. The paddle shifters for sport mode help but the cat still messes with the boost even under "sport" mode shifting. All in all it did well. It's a fun suv.

We entered the Vivio into a rallycross and it did not disappoint! Intended to only do a few exhibition runs which lead to 12 runs for the day and going from 75second runs to just over 60seconds. Great meeting you there. I did not expect the Ascent to perform as well as it did.
If Kei cars were more available and not as high priced in the states, these would have a huge tuner scene. The Grom squads are still running strong. I think these would have too.
Damn I'm interested, I've been day dreaming a Busa in a vivio but I was thinking a mid engine RWD set up similar to the hill climb cars in Europe

It has KYB Super Rally Struts, I don't believe they are taller, but I don't have a stock suspension to compare with
* the car was running like complete dog shit with a bad exhaust manifold leak.. ( you can hear it in both sections) We struggled with it all weekend until the motor finally let go.. ( not exhaust related)

When I was a kid. We lived on S. 12th St. 2 blocks away from the start line . The Duryea hill climb drew thousands of people , fans would be at the start. and all the way up to the Pagoda watching the cars. Reading had some really kool events. . I had a great childhood.growing up in Rdg. .
Used to run these roads at night in college, had no idea there was an official event until recently
