I am writing several gods, and am making them all human in behavior and thought process. In my world, the gods were formerly mortals who attained godhood through reaching the past the limits of thier mortal limits. My MC is actually the reincarnation of one of the gods who vanished. Her past life was as the twin sister of the goddess of knowledge. I am hoping it works out, since this is my first time writing a book. 😅

When I look at flora and fauna I like to start at the foundational elements. Sourced Sustenance, Environmental Impact, Environmental Survivability. Why would a thing need shelter, and where. What does it need to survive, and where or what might it get and why. How does this thing impact the world around it, how does it fit into the workings of the world. That's usually where I start. Required Sustenance, Impact of/in environment, Survivability ranges. I stand in a location of interest and start small. I take a look 360 degrees around and ask "what do I see" and "what don't I see" that impacts this location specifically and then slowly widen my view beyond that space. Layering in a world so the unknown becomes known when it has relevance in to the space being created. Small chunks of the wider view. The details when detail is upon it.

As a devoted Christian, I find this exploration fascinating, but I'm also conscious of not veering too far from my core beliefs and faith. I don't want to risk losing sight of my Christian faith while embarking on this imaginative endeavor. Your video has inspired me to contemplate this delicate balance. I think the Ballista would be a good siege weapon, but not for damaging the fortification. It could be used to fire bolts over a wall and into a courtyard to hit the defenders bellow. It could also be used to fire on defenders on the wall. Many fortifications had wooden barriers to take cover behind while firing crossbows at the attackers. A ballista could fire at those positions and might have been able to hit defenders through their wooden barriers.

I haven’t a clue if this is a good storyline. Can someone help? So it’s kind of a twist on the Bible’s basis. There is two gods, one goddess. The two gods are Voh and Zilo. They’re brothers. Voh is married to the goddess, Eve. The couple are essentially the gods of everything good. Zilo however is basically the devil. “Evil incarnate.” He was banished to my version of Hell, however he CAN enter Heaven but he isn’t welcome. Now Voh and Eve procreate and create the spirits. The spirits all represent different subjects, topics, ideas, etc. They live in Heaven and lead peaceful lives. Keep in mind that the fantasy version of Earth has not been conceived yet. Anyways, finally, after a long time, Eve expects a new child. Finally the child is born and named Ajax. There’s a party and everything. But Zilo doesn’t show. Later that day, Voh and Eve are relaxing in their palace’s balcony. But then their daughter, Posiel, flies down and informs them that Bezel, the spirit of vulnerability, has been murdered. Years later, Ajax reunited with Zilo and Zilo takes him on a field trip down to hell. But while down there, Zilo pushes Ajax through a magical mirror and into a distant realm, even out of Voh’s reach. It’s a one way trip. Only the demons can cross through because they were created between both worlds. Voh and Eve have no power to do anything because this is pure dark magic, aka Zilo, and Zilo and Voh and Eve are all on equal turf. There’s a fight. Zilo is banished. There’s obviously more, but still. What do u think??

In regards to Autumn’s #1… well for starters you claim the second book is Harry’s first year at Hogwarts but that could be slip of the tongue. Secondly, state that Fawkes never appeared before in the books. He first appears in chapter 12 where he meets the sorting hat and Dumbledore explains to Harry all about phoenixes. So this kind of for me puts into question the validity of your credibility as critics of plot twists, possibly even other elements of writing if you can’t bother to fact check the things you’re talking about. It took me 3 minutes to find an online PDF and CTRL+F ‘Fawkes’.
