Hey Harlan! I thought you would be interested to hear my son's experience that he learned about at college. He wasn't seeing grades posted for a particular class and people said some teachers don't post till the end of the quarter but I insisted he go check to be sure that was the case. Lo and behold, the teacher didn't know that the grades weren't posting on his portal. (So the teacher could see the grades, but they weren't showing up on the student page)They are now working to remedy the situation.I reminded my son that this is a reminder that teachers sometimes need to be taught as well. They don't always know the experience the student is getting and when you ask questions or point things out it helps them understand how to help you or maybe its about learning that some people need things explained in a different way.

You should talk about why participating in class is important. In my classes nobody wants to participate in discussions and topics and it gets to be a drag. I’m the only one that be talking. When you have a chance please talk about why participating in class is so important. And talk about why it would be more fun and engaging 🙏.

It's true, you have to treat everyone with respect, but it's okay to stay away from people who are toxic/negative towers others. Honestly it's exhausting staying around such people. Overtime, it causes trauma and self-doubt. Doesn't mean that you disrespect them when you see them. It just means staying away from negative/ toxic people who have hurt you in the past. It's good because at least you won't allow the same toxic people to hurt you again.

I have a cousin who is very thin skinned and passive aggressive. He will temporarily ghost if his feelings get hurt or ego bruised, which is often, sadly. Otherwise he's a great guy. It's getting increasingly difficult to tolerate his "episodes" and ghosting games.
