I don't understand why so many people cut them off, I honestly couldn't see myself cutting them shorter than shoulder length and then combing them out. It feels like you're giving yourself such a shock and for me personally if I ever did locks it would specifically be so I can grow up my hair so cutting all of that off would just feel like a waste
