Cape Fear 24 Hour Endurance Run - 2024

Cape Fear 24 Hour endurance run is held on a USATF certified/sanctioned, 0.59-mile asphalt paved loop. The trail surrounds Lillington's Parks and Recreation baseball fields. Most of the trail is flat, except for one small incline. There is plenty of parking and space to set up a site close to your car. Where the heck is Tideland?
It’s out in Swansboro, NC
Nice recap. I hate I missed this year's race - it was to be my first ultra. Literally the day I was to sign up (had just worked out family schedules), I was hit by a motorcycle on my morning run resulting in a broken leg (as wild as it sounds, it's a very true story)! Hopefully, I will be able to run next year. I have heard nothing but good things - thanks for putting this on.
Sorry to hear about your accident, hope you recover quickly and hope to maybe see you out there in 2024 or even out at the marathon in March

Hi Penn, yep, I got hit up with a couple of unexpected projects at work that set me back a bit on my edits but I just wrapped up my last big project yesterday so am back to focusing on the BMUT race video. Sorry for the delay, I really was hoping to have some downtime during the holidays to work on it but the opposite was the case
Do they make utv riders wear helmets?
Hi Alisa, helmets weren't required for UTV riders when we were there. I'm sure it wouldn't have been a bad idea to have one on.

YEP! Great race and race directors! Ive had the privelage of running this twice and volunteering! You couldn't ask for better trails for the beginner trail runner without massive elevation gain. Totally worth the experience!
