Hey mate, welcome to the channel. got some insulation foam boards from Bunnings and cut them up into squares and inserted them into my garage door, had some impact overall but you really need more to properly insulate from sound, my main goal was to insulate from the weather so i can practice when it gets cold, but if you want it for sound then get some sound acoustic foam from amazon or somewhere else would be my advice. good luck mate!

Thanks Dena, trust me it bothered me for a long time, but then realised i never swing a golf club Vertically more around my body so the chances of turning the lights out were low in the end, either way its enough to keep you up at night for a little while. welcome to the channel

Hey Michael, welcome to the channel and Golf, you have been warned this gets addictive haha. the mat is really good, can't fault it and have learned the hard way with getting a cheaper mat in the past, ended up with some injuries from how many balls i hit across the year. Do yourself a favour and invest in a proper mat if you choose to setup something at home. Good luck!

I do not get lessons regularly, I am predominantly self taught, i have had a couple of lessons from Sam Peet at the golf studio in Mordialloc, if you are interested you can mention that I referred you and he will look after you. Welcome to the channel! Honestly the spg5 for a low handicap golfer could work, but i think the spg7 is the right one for single digit to mid handicappers, high handicappers 20+ should probably consider the SPG8, Its not because they suck, its so that you can swing freely and know your bad ones will still hit the net and not your wall lol. Obviously you have to have the space and budget for it, and if the 5 is all you have the space for the net will do just fine!

Hi Gary, I am using a Titleist AP3s (off the shelf) i definetely do not swing hard when i play, i probably swing closer to 75% , il take your advice and give it more of a rip! I also tend to agree that i think my Driver needs to be looked at changed over, my spin numbers are really high, and i do not think i have a swing deficiency that warrants such high spin numbers!
