This channel is designed to share my* nature videos with anyone interested. For 35 years I travelled the world in search of birds and other natural wonders and during these trips I made lots of videos. I shoot my videos with pocket cameras (Lumix Panasonic DMC-TZ70 and Canon PowerShot SX720 HS), occasionally with smartphone. Poor quality videos are purely to document my sightings. I started out as a birder but I have become more and more interested in other creatures as well, most noticeably insects and reptiles. Everything that catches my eye (and that moves - though there are exceptions!) I will try to video - and that includes tropical rain! I hope you enjoy!

Yes, it's a fly but one that mimics a bee - so that other animals including perhaps humans don't hurt it thinking it's a bee :-)

I have a male one who comes to me every now and then. Ive made a habit of feeding the pigeons and smaller birds, bird seed on my front lawn and he has decided to tag along. Such a cutie! I named him Kip-kip. Hes super friendly ( I know hes male cause of the spurs on his legs) and so very trusting! Hes eating outside as I type this! I feed him bread each time he comes❤
