    This is the second interview I know about with him. He appeared in 1974 on BBC Radio One's Rosko's Roundtable at the time of his smash There's a Ghost in my House. He spoke about his Motown experiences and the other guests were stunned to hear that he played a major rol in writing for example, Bernadette. The interview is on a tape somewhere in my garage but I hope the BBC has not lost it. He was a remarkable man, if, as we see here, rather modest and unassuming. There are so many songs of his that will be remembered. RIP.

    What a great song and a great song writer. They simply do not ( in my opinion) write songs now like they used to. The golden years of music is of the past. This is a beautiful, heart aching love song. RIP Richard Dean Taylor. ❤

    Indiana wants me Lord, I can't go back there Indiana wants me Lord, I can't go back there I wish I had you To talk to If a man ever needed dyin', he did No one had the right to say what he said About you And it's so cold and lonely here without you Out there the law's a-comin' I'm scared and so tired of runnin' Indiana wants me Lord, I can't go back there Indiana wants me Lord, I can't go back there I wish I had you to talk to It hurts to see the man that I've become And to know I'll never see the morning sun shine on the land I'll never see your smilin' face or touch your hand If just once more I could see You, our home, and our little baby Indiana wants me Lord, I can't go back there Indiana wants me Lord, I can't go back there I wish I had you to talk to I hope this letter finds its way to you Forgive me, love, for the shame I put you through And all the tears Hang on, love, to the memories of those happy years Red lights are flashin' around me Yeah, love, it looks like they found me Indiana wants me Lord, I can't go back there Indiana wants me Lord, I can't go back there I wish I had you to talk to Indiana wants me Lord, I can't go back there (Give yourself up) Indiana wants me (This is the police, give yourself up) Lord, I can't go back there (You are surrounded)

    I think somebody told a while there are a handful of eps of AB from 1971-74 that ended up surviving the tape count is not many i know it was commonplace back then to erase the tape and use it again i think because tapes back then when were expensive(i hope that wasn't the reason) if the eps from that time period weren't destroyed or missing the surviving episode numbers would've been higher than 883 or 884

    • @wbchloe7168
      @wbchloe7168 2 года назад

      This is one of my tops on my wishlist. If the network gave the copies to Clark I knew they would have survived. I know possibly that Dick kept a lot of stuff even some of the set pieces. I read about a few surviving because they possibly previously stolen and returned. I read from some site but am not sure of it. This also might be an artist copy of performance not of the episode.
