Stalag is the riddim for the famous song "Bam Bam" by Sister Nancy. The Bam Bam Riddim is the riddim for Chaka Demus & Pliers famous track "Murder She Wrote". Not sure though why it has that name and how they are related (you could see a loose connection in the basslines).

@@BoomrushMusic oh i though sister nancys stalag was in a different key but same notes hence why it became known bam bam riddim.

@@james-butcher Actually, the riddim databanks usually credit Toots & the Maytals' "Bam Bam" as the original (or name giver), although I never really saw the connection (but maybe, I'm missing a different version that was closer to the modern Bam Bam Riddim).

You mean the keys as in notes, or the keyboards I used to record the track?

@BoomrushMusic Bac in the 80s the record stores around South Jersey sucked, could never find roots reggae or ska, I used to go to Philadelphia to find what I Needed to hear, 2 tone ska was getting popular in England, so some of that filter thru, I wasin high school and met a punk rock kid, shared my music with him, and we eventually formed a little garage band , played mostly Reggae, Black Uhuru, Augustus Pablo, The Congos, and some ska, we played out once, we mostly just did it for fun . Anyway, thanks again
