Videos of studio work, Live performances, interviews and films by and about Jesse Mosher. Jesse Mosher is an American Artist who paints in a new style that is a break from traditional European painting techniques, organically incorporating mechanics, and philosophies of Rock N Roll, amateur wrestling and cave painting. The goal of the work is convert violence, suffering and anger into a physical performance generating a realistic portrait of a powerful artist. The audience facing approach with the artist above and behind the work is facilitated by the invention of the guitar easel which is used in nearly every video made since 2018. This channel is a depository of the videos which track the development of the guitar easel and the fore mentioned painting position.

The song is From a Joe Ely show live at Antone’s in Austin TX January 23 1999. This video was recorded October 12 2024 at Klub Illuzia in Dolny Kubin Slovakia. This was the last song of a 5 night run there so I really gave it All I had. The club owner Martin plays some drums live on this too. I painted Ron Asheton and then Bob Dylan on Guitar easels. Enjoy!

I know between watching so many concerts and all the times I’ve done this ( this was show 801!) I really think guitars are one of the best things humans have invented. The guitar easels were an idea I had for years, and have been building from scratch since 2018. There’s a few hundred more songs to post from this past month’s tour of Italy, Slovakia and Slovenia, this is just the tip of the iceberg…

Because I can, I do. One of my favorite bands from when I lived in SF. I did this type of performing a few times at shows of members of BJM in 2010-12.

Bad audio no external microphone was used. Could use the original audio synched over this one in the future to make this video really sing.

Yeah I hung out with them the whole 3 weeks and rehearsals etc. It was just me and the roadmanager on that whole tour. Some of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure of touring with. I filmed almost all the sound checks and many of the shows, there on my YT channel. I was doing the same thing on US tours and in South America, Canada once for CJ for almost 5 years. Crazy times, lotsa laughs. Probably my favorite tour I did with Mr. Ramone.

the Detours (est. 1977) from Fullerton, founded by Gordon Cox, Rikk Agnew and Jeff Beahn are the musical precursor to Adolescents (est, 1980)and DI (est 1982). In 1979 Casey Royer quit Social Distortion 3 months after it formed, to join the Detours. He brought the Amoeba lyrics that Mike Ness didn't want. The music belonging to Mike became Ness' song, 1945. the Detours turned a 4 track reel to reel on and recorded this version as a working demo for Rikk to write new music for the Amoeba lyrics. Not long after, the Amoeba (Royer/Agnew) version everyone knows was recorded for the first time in 1979 by the Detours, along with Hang 10 in east Berlin (Cox/Beahn), and the Saint (Cox/Koerber). at Devon sound by Daniel Van Patton- producer.

Nearly nine minutes long on the album version, it was released as a single July 1970 in the United States, but failed to chart.Jimi died sept 18th of the same year. Long after he recorded anything in Tacoma. The Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, also known as DLO3, is an American soul-jazz group founded in 2015. The band has released five albums. Their debut album, titled Close But No Cigar, charted at number one on the U.S. Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. Seattle, Washington, U.S.
Yeah definitely another guitar player from Tacoma who is named Jimmy James. I haven’t seen much from him recently but he would sit in with Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings back when that was touring

Thanks. Out of all the bands I met when I worked in Punk Rock ( CJ Ramone 2011-15) Social D guys were the kindest most grounded ones I met. They remind me of the mechanics I grew up with..
