Phone-cam pics and video edited into an overwrought bit of self-aggrandizement celebrating a great flight at AirVenture '08. Undying thanks to Jim Cook for caving in to my endless harangues.
Is this Terry Elgood’s restored moth? Looks like Delta Air Park
Hi Herb - no, this is CF-TBS, currently owned by Brad Hieronimous and based at Guelph Airpark in Ontario, where this was all shot.
Nice! Thanks for sharing. ~Smitty
Great video *****! Thank you for sharing it with us over on Facebook!
Landings look easy!
Cool gyro :)
Great Hal!!
@SaberTanker22 The maximum speed is around 95 knots or so. When I've flown them, I usually cruise at 80-85 mph, which is around 70-75 knots. As far as how high ... the service ceiling in the books is around 13,000 feet - I think the highest I've been in one is around 6,000. Low and slow is much more fun!
