Thanks! I have been playing for almost 7 years now. This video was shot when I was a lot younger XD I should prolly update with a new video sooner or later

woooow.....this is my first time watching this in a while.....all i can say is ugh...XD This video was put up on here in middle school and i haven't posted anything since. I can tell you I sound NOTHING like this now! XD I will be posting more videos soon

It was good. HOWEVER, you rush very badly. It was somewhat choppy to me. Make sure you work on phrasing..and tighten your embouchure!! The song is very legato, so dont hit the notes so hard. AND IT WAS VERY VERY SHARP!! But other than that you did really good!

@FallenBov yes, I am now taking private lessons, I'm in the local orchestra, and every band program at my school XD i'm in high school but these videos are from 7th grade. I haven't updated my RUclips since so these videos are from when I was pretty inexperienced.

I WAS out of tune, I DID rush, I WAS shaky, and I DID mess up!! this was over 2 years, almost 3 years, ago when I recorded this so obviously I need to put up new videos ^^;; XD I was in a flute ensemble in my local youth orchestra, so I'll prolly put up videos from that performance or the solo I did for a Solo and Ensemble thing. lol

@andromeda110591 ::: You obviously have no musical initiavtive. She was sharp, rushed through it, her notes were shaky and she messed up on a couple of notes. Before you go dissing on other people, make sure you have a good reason other than, "You're probably just jealous." You don't even realize how childish that sounds. Who knows, you may not even be a musician at all and have not idea what she's doing right or wrong.

SHARP! VERY SHARP!!! SHAKY NOTES! And I feel as if you're rushing. . .*Hears 0:45* YOU ARE RUSHING! HORRIBLY SO! This is a gently flowing piece. get into the music and not try to plow your way through. music isn't only about notes and rythms, but how you portray the emotion in every note.

Remember, steady stream of air. And, to me, it sounds like you were running sharp. remind yourself to tune before playig anything. some long tone exercises help very much to improve your tone quality.

omg, this was in 7th grade and i just watched it again for the first time in almost 2 years and realized that the rhythms and enitre melody were WAAAAAY off!!!! XD

@allkpop97 i know i sucked back then. i hadn't been playing very long and i never took lessons. now i am taking lessons, my posture looks like a completely different player, and my sound has improved. this was 2 years ago and i look back and think WHY THE HECK DID I PUT THIS ONLINE CUZ IT SUCKS!! XD i need to post a recent video when i finish working up my Solo and Ensemble piece Suite Modale.

First of all, try not to shake the note during a long tone. Second, Real vampires don't sparkle. You have good sound, I'll give you that, but frankly you are supposed to hold your flute parrallel to the ground with a SLIGHT angle. You're holding it almost past your shoulder.

@hallowiegehtdas this was actually over a year ago, when i was only like 12. if i recorded it right now it would sound A LOT better, taking private lessons and doing honor bands and what not

lol yeah our director is leaving at the end of this year, and it sucks!!
