I had Conti's on my '73 v7 sport. Sounded so sweet but between red paint and sweet sound i got lots of tickets! The drama free handling at over 100 mph might have had something to do with it?

( owned a v7 sport and it was my favorite bike that i ever owned) against the backdrop of your beautiful Japanese? countryside is so satisfying for me. Beautiful fall color and snow capped volcanoes. Why would you do that? Terrible noise and bad for the motor
Probably because he finds low rpm cruising comfortable, I like it too. But this motor is not the best at it. I can still cruise at 60, 70km/h in 5th gear, and the thump is ok. It is a short stroke engine after all, despite the big torque available. A w800, a HD or an old brit single is very relaxing to ride for this reason.
