Autumn cruising with Rebel Vanners, the season is over and a long winter awaits us. But this day the sun was with us so it was a nice day. Now the van's will soon be parked for the winter and hopefully spring will come soon. Keep on Vannin

We started the day at the Doorslammers Yankee Car Club in Kirkenær, on a day in glorious weather. There was also a cruising round before we went down to Kongsvinger to join the cruising there. A very pleasant day with many cars and lots of people.
13 Truck Festival 2024. Cruising

The annual 13 Truck Festival starts with cruising from Lillehammer to Tretten for American trucks and vans and European trucks. They start up from Lillehammer at 21.00 on Friday evening. Trucks with lots of lights and chrome, people gather all along the road to watch the convoy.

The autumn meeting is organized by Norway Van Club as usual, this year the weather was bad on Friday with lots of wind and rain, but many people turned up anyway. We were only there on Saturday, when the weather was ok. But not much was filmed.

Picking up a short van

My dear has bought himself a short van, Chevy van, 1980 mod, somewhat customized. We have really wanted a short van for a long time, without really knowing why. Now we sold the Mercedes 500 SL, R129 which we have had for 13 years, so it became a short van instead.

Despite the rainy weather, many cars came to cruise in Åmotfors. Many people were out along the road to look at all the cars. Successful cruising as usual in little Åmotfors, despite bad weather.

Tremendous video and work. I don't know if there is a repair kit for this mirror. I don't fully understand how it works and why the mechanism travels in case it has limit switches. Greetings and thanks.

What would a guy do to fix the fact that none of the lights work for the gauges anymore? I’ve tried new bulbs but still nothing
First check if you have 12v on the instrument panel when you switch on the light, if you have then check that the copper wire is intact to all bulbs. Check and clean all bulb holders and check bulbs. If you don't have 12v in, then you have to look the other way and we know that the light switch is a weakness on these cars. Good luck 👍👍

Ja det var en rolig video att se,såg att min lilla USA bil var med.En Buick Skylark Limited från 1981.Det var en mycket trevlig och fin crusing och många fina bilar.Buicken får vara hemma nu 2024 för den har fått haveri på automatlådan.

What is the last white plug for? The one that shows after removing the turn signal light. Thick plug with two wires. Don't think it's connected anywhere...?
You have one for the motor and one for the heat...
@@Chevyvan-freakNo, look at 5:13. there is a white plug inside the mirror as well
Well I don't remember but it is kable for motor, heat and turn signal. If it not fit enyver it can be for anoder option.

Thank you very mutch. Ebay is you frend when it comes to spare parts, new or used. Rock Auto has almost everthing for the engine and breaks, steering and so on. Good luck with your van 👍👍👍

Sorry but I dont remember if you need to remove the fog lights. But if you have a new grille maybe you will see how they are fasten. Sorry I don't cant hjelp you more and I have sold my Mercedes... 😇😇But good luck to you, you will fiks it 👍👍👍

Mye jobb ja, har en 1995 Chevy van G20 som jeg holder på med. En tilfeldighet at jeg kom over dine videoer, godt å få noe inputt når man selv ikke har jobbet noe med biler før, eller svært lite siden 80-90 tallet.
Mye jobb, men moro når man kan begynne å bruke bilen for helt ferdig blir man nok aldri 😂😂😂
