How can I remove fujifilm super ebc fujinon protector 49mm from the lens? I mounted it directly on the lens and now can’t remove it?!? It seems stuck 😟

Thanks for the video, I have a couple of questions, does the lens hood block some of the viewfinder image, and I take it a blooming or polarizing filter would be attached the same way as the protection one. Cheers. That hood is really nice looking.
Bought based on this video...found out too late that the lens cap no longer fits and the hood is obtrusive on the OVF. Bummer. Appreciate the instructions ,but there's some drawbacks to this equipment.
Hi there. I am sorry for the lens cap due to lack of information. Since original fuji lens cap is not working with that combination, I am using camera without lens cap now. There’s no way to fit lens cap with original hood… It may be too late, but I can recommend another product (not fuji) - this is Nisi lens filter - a.co/d/a2C89LC If you use it, original lens cap can be fit on the filter. No, unfortunately, you have to find another lens cap- size is different. Sorry for the late reply.

i think yes. Since the lens hood and filter came from Fujifilm itself xDDDD
Yes!! X100V model has two color(black and silver) so you can choose accessories with the same color.
Hello, I bought a lens hood and I need an adapter. What size should I choose? I have fujix100t
the silver on the LH-X100 does *not* match the new X100VI perfectly, it is slightly darker in soft indoor (yellow) lighting as the texture is slightly different and it reflects the light differently. I doubt anyone would notice but the user (because once you see it... you see it). In brighter outdoor light it seems the color appears more close.
Does the ring adapter comes together with the lens hood?
Can be bought separately or as a kit. This kit is the cheaper option,

No, unfortunately, the original cover doesn’t fit on lens hood. You can buy different size cover at the camer shop. I usually don’t use cover… because I already protect with lens hood and filter! Thank you for question! <3
@@SPark-uw5jb That's a particularly stupid way to proceed. Not only that the unprotected filter will scratch over time, it will also be dusty and dirty all the time. Can't believe how many people think this is clever...
@@bertagriese8282 Eh you can clean it regularly, and if worst comes worst buy a new filter.
@@bertagriese8282 I've used hoods and protective filters on countless cameras, including the X100V and find the hood ALWAYS has prevented scratches from bumps, throwing in bags etc. I sometimes do have to wipe clean the filter of dust etc. but that's no big deal. If I do scratch the filter I'm out $30-50 but not a $1400-1600 camera (in the case of a fixed lens X100 series) and having the lens cap off means I always ready to shoot and don't worry about losing the cap. If you truly want a lens cap anyway... Amazon sells the squeeze style caps (used on interchangeable style lenses on every camera system, including Fuji) for a 49mm thread in a set of 2 for $7... and it fits perfectly and securely even with this hood attached.

In my opinion, (I am not an expert), camera lens needs a protection. Lens hood and filter can be really helpful to protect your camera. You need it even more if you live in rainy or humid area. Cameras are really sensative to moisture. Thanks for question <3
