I have never been a fan of Hiyori to place a 5c in life and then play a 2c to use the combo. You are paying 4 don to buff your leader to 7k and losing a 2k counter in the process when you are already running low with cards in your hand due to Law blocker. Your opponent has not been aggressive all game so instead I would have made them pay for it by hard casting 5c Ace, Attacked with leader first for 5 + 1 don = 6k. Then he probably would have blocked with kid, counter 1, attack kid with Ace for 7, he probably would counter again with 2k counter. Sure he has 3 bodies on the field that can all attack your leader for 5k, but then you need to keep an eye on his sequencing. If he attacks with Zoro, take it, if he attacks with any of his blockers, take it. I don't believe he would feel confident going for game when you have 7-8 cards in hand, if they did, you could split counter and try to keep Makino in your hand in case you need to take life. After that you should be golden as you can then combo. They may not be aggressive and continue building their board with Bon clay and Reiju play which if they did, you would have had enough to counter and counter with your own Moria play. I do think you got a bit unlucky with your searches though as you had so many of the adults and not enough of the kids to do your combo. Overall you did fine but I think you were a tad aggressive 1 turn early which placed you in an awkward spot where you burned too many cards in hand.
Great points and i agree doing hiyori ace combo did set me back after i had lost 2 cards already. Will definitely take into account atack sequencing in my next matches! I didnt really think much of it to that extent until you pointed it out. I apreciate the feedback.
@@Ruhk_TCG you had 3 life if you hard play ace right there he wouldn't have rush so you would get no real value out of him. also getting the baby sabo's and hard playing the 5c sabo would've been good so you can cycle more cards out of the deck building your trash so you can get the engine going.
That was a close one only thing I would’ve done differently was swing 8k with the ace then 8 with leader so that he either takes the life or wastes more counter in hand - was good that he forgot the law tho

since its trashing it doesnt go to our hand and it skips the part where it goes to the bottom of the deck

I wish there is an guide with all BY Luffy's combos, such as Moria+hiyori+kid

Roger! In my head I wanted him to waste a 2k and get rid of a blocker but it makes more sense to do 8 and 8. That could potentially get rid of both.
