I am just making these videos for fun and to try and help people out. Thank you tho!

What other kind of videos would you like me to make, I need ideas that would appeal to a large audience.

Sounds simple but make sure to check all the fuses in the fuse box inside the car and the one under the hood.

I do apologize, I now have a full time job which takes up a lot of my time. Hopefully I will have a video about replacing the sway bar end links soon!

The only problem I have is my high beams and daytime running lights work but my low beams and fog lights do not. Very good chance its just a fuse.

I highly recommend not doing any cheap mods to the car. I know it may be tempting but you will eventually hate it and have to spend a lot of money to get it back to where you started. When I started on cars I was just fixing things that was broken on my, friends and family members cars. Swapping an engine is a task and if you don't know how things on a car work you can end up stuck and feel like you threw money in a hole and lit it on fire. You will also need another car to drive as you are doing the swap as it took me about 2 months from start to finish to complete.

Unless you are looking forward to pain, I don’t recommend it 😂

You really are way better off just buying a v8, unless you want the satisfaction and fun of swapping

I filmed 2 different videos. One I just still can’t get the ac fixed and the other I hated. I think I’ll be doing a full suspension upgrade video soon tho

No, since it was an automatic before I had to cut holes though the firewall to mount the clutch pedal. I also had to swap the dash harness so the sensor in the clutch pedal could talk to the computers

You’d need a 2010-2015

Stay between 2010-2012. 2013-2015 they switched some things that makes the swap more expensive and time consuming.

If you’re not going from an auto to a manual trans it shouldn’t be too hard. Also stay in the same model years, 2010-2012 and 2013-2015

I had a donor car to swap out all of the computers but when that didnt work I used HP Tuners to deleted the VATS which solved my mismatching vin situation.

I know the v8 exhaust is slightly larger in diameter at some points but the mounting is the exact same. As long has it connects to your cats you are good to go!

I barley know anything about ls swapping if im being honest. But by swapping an ls from a Camaro you get the aluminum block and a low profile oil pan so it fits. besides that the engine is the same and you can definitely just throw on a low profile oil pan on an ls truck engine and throw that in the Camaro.

Its not guaranteed success but it is so rewarding once done. If you like working on cars and need an excuse for a fun engine swap project then definitely do it.

I am not positive but I believe the chassis is the exact same. I believe ZL1s have coolant lines running to the diff and the diff on a zl1 is bigger and doesnt fit quite right.

I went from an auto trans to a manual. So when I installed the clutch pedal it needed to connect to the dash harness and the auto dash harness does not have that plug on it.

It was the most fun project I have ever done in my life!

I can get a used ss for 13-22k depending on miles. There's one for 15k with upgrades and it's a 2ss rs model with only 68k miles lol. Idk how this build was cheaper than a ss. Also most 2ss in my area come already slightly upgraded. One has a zl1 OEM body kit and blower for only 22k it's crazy.

Like just labor wise probably around 5-6k

I did buy a used motor. But buying a used ss isn’t exactly riveting content. Sorry to disappoint but the memories I have from this project will last forever
