Does love like that really exist? I am 75 years of age today and I have never experienced anything remotely close. I have been unlucky in love. It makes me so sad, but watching these beautiful scenes makes my heart smile.
I haven't either. I understand how you feel. At least we can see it like this.
It's unfortunately extremely rare to find someone to share this with. I think it more so depends on the temperament of those 2 people. The reason why, in my opinion, this doesn't happen like this more often is because people feel awkward being cheesy and poetic and that it's not realistic or it's fake or just a story so why bother right? Why even bother and make a fool out of myself by putting myself out there? Not to mention many people's soulmates and twin flames may not be as good, kind, or loving in this life as they are so they don't find their way to each other. Though I think it's more the fault of modern sensibilities and people are scared to open themselves to the possibility of humiliation and rejection. People are more often than not, scared and hurting and don't want it to happen again. This world is full of pain and I don't believe there is a single person alive who hasn't experienced pain in their life. But even so without knowing pain in our life, we can't appreciate joy, but on the flip side we don't notice pain if we've never felt joy. If we never feel love how can we lose it? Opening ourselves lets in warmth but it also brings in cold too. I will always want love in my life even if only briefly but I can understand why people don't. Sorry for the rant... TLDR: Yes it does but only for those who are brave and to hell with the consequences.

I don't know what their story is like in the novel, but I hope that at least season 2 will have a romantic story until Galadriel becomes the Lady of Light and find celeborn. Maybe because she was manipulated by Sauron until she was finally able to defeat the darkness within her and find her light like Gandalf who become a white wizard in TLOTR

i love this series, i finished it a few days ago but i just wanna rewatch immediately, Matthew Goode is so fine i didn’t knew him before ADOW but he really got me to live the series more and his chemistry with Diana is so unreal , im definitely gonna watch his other shows too, love him
I first noticed him in Watchmen where he was Ozymandias/Adrian Veidt.
If you loved him in ADOW try one of his earliest works called Chasing Liberty. My god it's something else but he really stole the spotlight from Mandy Moore. Young Matthew Goode will make you faint and squeal with delight. My god that man has a face that you can't help but admire.
I love all 4 books and enjoy rewatching the series.
