Ryzen 5 7600x, working temperature in all core load.
Running Cinebench R23, multi core run, on a Ryzen 5 7600x and using Hardware Monitor to show just how fast the CPU jumps up close to it's 95C max working temperature. The cooler I'm using is a 240mm AIO cooler from Deep cool.

Cheap ballistic chronograph, actually works really well.
Просмотров 33 тыс.3 года назад
Testing out a cheap Chinese chronograph that I got from Aliexpress for only $35 plus $2 shipping. Amazingly it was able to detect very small pellets all the way up to very fast bullets. I don't have anything to compare it's readings against, but given how easy time over distance is to calculate, I assume it's readings are at least close.

From the New Zealand domestic HRV Twenty20 competition. This is the most incredible catch I have ever seen. Bevan Small catches the ball in the air while crossing over the boundary rope, before hitting the ground he throws the ball to Michael Mason who takes the catch. More info below. Ok, for those who actually read the full description, here are a few things that people seem to be commenting ...

A two and a half minute clip taken from onboard my "Ez Hawk" rc plane. The whole time it is descending un-powered. I haven't made this clip to show off what the plane is capable of, instead it's an easy to watch clip where the only sound is the air rushing past.
Time lapse. Driving through the McKenzie country, New Zealand

This is a short time lapse video I took while driving through the "McKenzie Country", which is in South Canterbury, South Island of New Zealand. The video starts at Lake Pukaki and ends at the small township of Fairlie. The total time span for the trip is just under an hour. I used my Canon G9 digital camera to make this clip. The McKenzie Country is known for it's blue lakes, mountains and wid...
Mythbusters, shooting at a pig with a chain fired from a cannon.

Uncut video from the 2nd pirate show special. Adam and Jamie experiment with things that can be used as improvised cannon ammo. Everything they tried was disappointing, until the chain......it was by far the most lethal thing they fired.
Mythbusters shoot pigs with cannon.

This is my favourite scene from Mythbusters "Pirate special". It's where Adam and Jamie find out how many pirates a single cannonball could kill in order to prove if splinters would be more deadly. To test the myth they start off by lining up 4 pigs and shooting them :-)
"The dog's dinner", 80's TV ad with Footrot Flat's Dog.

An ad from New Zealand TV for dog food. It uses "Dog" from the "Footrot Flats" comic strips & movie. My guess is that the ad came out after the movie, which was released in 1986. The animated scene may even be from the movie?

Re: Cricketer Losing Tooth (High Motion)
Thanks for the video. What is the muzzle distance to the chronograph for best results please.
How far away are your muzzels from the chrono? Specially the karger kalibers.
Need to compare to something, how can you tell the display fps are good ?
Are those your beef?? It’s a nice looking herd.
I'd like to see how it compares with a higher quality one to see if there is much of a difference between them.
10 years ago and not a comment...well done that man!
Technologically main chip and other parts of any chronograph is not an expensive part , problem is huge greed of some manufacturers .
Did anybody notice after catch he did hye 5 inside boundry... it would be 6
to set the unit into FPS, when you power on the unit and it is count 1111, 2222, 3333 etc. press the set button while it is counting and it will go into the settings. then press the set button 1 time and let go. it will change to FPS. then hold the set button for 3 seconds till the LED turns green. now you are in FPS. you are holding the se button to long and that's way it will not change to FPS. If you watch the LED it will change colors, on your unit it will start as green and after 3 seconds it will turn red. when it goes red then let go the set button
Couldn't make this now , surprised sime LBGTQ group hasn't had it removed
Is it safe to really run this at 90+ degrees for 10 minutes?
AMD says this CPU is made to work normally in 95°C in long periods so I think so Otherwise there is a lot of videos about how to configure CPU to lower the temper

I bought a 7600 (non X). After a week of trial and error, I succesfully get the cpu at stock clocks (5.15ghz all core turbo), 66w of power consumption, 55 degrees C in CB R23, 1.104v, -50 co, SoC at 1.02v stable, I ran all kind of stability tests, like occt, occt ramtest, ycruncher, prime95, aida64, corecycler and i ran some benchs like passmark, cinebench r23 and 2024, played games, normal usage, no errors at all. I paired the 7600 with a ak500 wh.
Can you put the caliber and weight in it?
And to think that in the navy you’d have that, plus a cannonball on either end… absolutely devastating.
You have to push on button during the countdown after the "ON" have been displayed. If you push on it during 1111 to 5555 you access to the MPS/FPS setting and you just have to press a bit longer after you choose the right unit in order to store it (until the red led is brighting). If you press the button after 6666, you access to the weight (first - short press increase of 1g - long press decrease of 0.1g - very long press store it and pass to caliber setting and there the same short press to increase of 1mm - long press to decrease of 0,1mm - very long press to store it and restart) and caliber settings.
Hi Jeff, I need to use it for arrows and the unit of measure is in grains. Doing the conversion it is around 26 grams but the chronograph goes up to 10. Am I doing something wrong or is 10 grams the maximum? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have a question for you. Where do I get the app? A link would be great. Thanks in advance.
Hi, I have a question for you: With the two LED bars on top like that, can you also use it on an indoor shooting range with very little light?
Why do you have to calculate to fps ?
Hav one my selves. Works grate. However, in sunlight it doesent work and have to be shaded with som cardboard or similar.
What distance from the shooting bench?
On mine, it states “number 5 batteries” in the directions and 1.5 volts on the battery Compartment (indicating AAA) however it also states AA in the directions and AA in the battery compartment that is for AA batteries. AA is all that fits and it will not come on. New batteries turned the correct way. Paperweight so far.
Here is how accurate it is with electronic testing and circuit diagram ruclips.net/video/vfXLnKsya4s/видео.htmlsi=-kRODU_CgWHiVYSl
I see that the device jumps when using the high-power rounds. I am assuming that is because you are using the same bench as a rest for both the rifle and meter, is that true? I am thinking that accuracy may be affected by that jump and that maybe not shooting from the same bench may help get the most accurate measurement. I sure do hope you will respond to this thought.
My 7600x running aroung 85C +- 1C on this test, I am using thermalright SI-100
I am having the same issue w/ my Ryzen 5 7600X on a 280mm NZXT RGB Elite cooler :-(
me too, any solution ? i've read its normal
Power on hold the front button count to 20 release nps should show on the display press button on front FPS should show up then press the front button again until a green light next to the front button flashes then let go should now be in fps mode.
shits hot af
Nice video. Thank you very much. My chronograph also came without any intruction paper. But I´ve find the way reading coments here.
Just bought one.... no instructions but have got this far after two days: House lighting can cause random triggering of display I guess same for sunlight affecting infra-red detection but as for the rest I am amazed it works fine and even has memory. Result it's a bargain. The way I used mine is bellow, Used and OK to date. Choice of Meters or Feet per second, and pellet weight (grain). Switch on. Chronograph boots up. The display runs, press & hold button until sytem run is completed. The run will end and display, 6. Release button. Displays mps. (If you require MPS, Press & hold button for 3 seconds.) Short press button once. Displays fps. Press & hold button for 3 seconds. Release button. Led flashes red twice then Displays fps. Display runs to 9 then shows su (input pellet weight if wanted) and beeps. You are now in fps mode. Display shows - - and awaits pellets to be shot through detectors. Pellet passes are indicated by two beeps. Display shows speed of pellet. Display returns to - - and is wating more shots or quick press of button to show speeds detected so far this session, and retained in memory.

15 years later and this vid still slaps
Mine has been working great. I accidentally shot it once and destroyed the on off button, very easy to replace. also you should keep the bottom row of LED receivers because it will have a glitch and measure ghost shots. I clean mine with compressed air from my compressor.
Mine was very inaccurate
I must admit i was waiting for a cow to suddenly "go to sleep". apart from that it seems like a good product. I'd love to see a video of the insides of the device.
Once I have selected FPS, can you tell me how to get it ready to let a pellet pass through that will give a readout
