The main one is "Enhanced P./M. Resistance Down" to boost her increased magic damage received debuff. Secondary is damage buff A, since it'll boost supporter memoria she can carry. Would usually do some sort of Reed Fish synth to try for both, which needs blue at the end. Ideally, you can get ARyza from the 2nd banner, then BLogy > ARyza > Reed Fish lets you make double mbreak, mbreak + debuff, or debuff + buff A. With how rare the combo is, any base gear you can get it on is fine. Like even crafting normal supporter recovery + buff A gear with Reed Fish gives you a chance to land it on something random. If you want specialized gear, the weapon is usually the one from her event, Angel Staff, or Steel Staff. Armor can be Thunder Armor or Phantom Armor. Accessory is usually Element Guard if you don't need specific speed, with the buff effect up boosting her MATK passive also.

Trait combo is usually just skill power + crit damage. I have some burst/buff A gear, but I don't have the strike crit memoria, so not always strong enough to use it. And for stuff like this, where you don't really need burst and don't ramp much, would just run skill + crit. For weapons, I have the tower hammer and the Ch 12 axe. Armor is Silver Thread. Accessory depends on speed tuning, ideally, you'd have both SR and SSR origin necklace for options, but I couldn't hit either, so she's usually wearing memoria bracelet or some other gear from other units.

Luckily, it's one of the worst floors, not many others like that. The 10Fs are exclusive to their own towers and can have some very character-specific gimmicks, so in this case, you're meant to use Nio's cover to intercept hits and eliminate the targeting RNG. But most people don't have her...

@@whimsical9054 A question in general, not just about this floor, what does more damage? a weapon with 50 ATK V+I or one with 95 IV+III?? Talking about when a yellow version comes out with better traits and the purple one with worse but better ATK and effect of the description. I'm unlucky enough to get items like that haha.

Depends on how much ATK and skill power you already have, but the 45 ATK is probably worth more than 5% skill power. SSR rate is ~45% for most recipes, and ~15% for EX, pretty bad, so you do end up with lots of yellows.

My global acct had pretty bad pull luck, so I'm discouraged from really trying hard on it lol. Think it's fine with Izana and Ryza, might need to work out turn order/panels/usable items. Level 80 is a decent jump in both damage and survivability. 8-1 and 8-3 are pretty hard overall though.

@@whimsical9054 Well, maximum damage is not, I had a new record with Izana killing the 2 ads with skill 2, and 3 Drachen to burst the boss of the first battle but I had rank A (I have S originally). And this time I guess because it was turn 22. I changed strategy to do everything quickly and this time I was able to on turn 14, but this time it was less damage and I also got an A 🙃

Yeah, usually the competitive stuff is a red flag for me, but for the time being, it seems like it'll be positioned as side content without too severe reward scaling. If it shifts further in that direction, I guess I'll just opt not to engage with it much. Game's had a good run so far though, without feeling like it's very profit-driven besides the very beginning, so hopefully we can get people to stay onboard.

Not sure that any of them is must have on their own atm, but Academy Ryza is really strong even outside of the combo, especially if you have some of the staple magic attackers like Izana or Xmas Resna. Still testing the chars outside of the combo and Rorona setups, hopefully there'll be something worth making a vid about.

@@whimsical9054 It would be nice to see an overall Attacker guide with their itemizations. I've been trying to work with Vayne since I love him a lot.. But his damage overall is pretty sad.

He doesn't see much use besides synth, but the man can slay when he needs to, was pretty ideal for this particular scenario.

He or she abused a bug with an item. Rainbow Transformer is an ally-support item, but it takes offensive properties as it was wrongly categorized. Verdict of Rage buffs the target's base stats by 100% (scales up with quality) if it doesn't kill, which can be abused to buff allies to max stats instead. If you want to play fair, use the elemental Cores to steal stats, and then buff with Dragon Elixir or whatever. Stolen stats are treated as your base stats when buffs are applied, and this can be repeated until you reach 999. The downside to this is that not everyone can use Cores, so basically you can only use Revy or Plachta to attack. Well, unless you want to abuse another bug with Firis, Sophie, and Ilmeria's normal attack, which is treated as a "skill" for some stupid reason and takes "skill power" properties like Hammer of Justice, Barrage Attack, Super Skills, Uncontrolled Aura, and Dragon Aura, as well as extra-damage properties like Dreadful King, Pursuit of Knowledge, and Deadly Attack - and they all stack. Sophie deserves a special mention since her best weapon (at high enough quality) gives her 100% critical rate when dual-wielded, and it boosts "skill power," i.e., her normal attack.

@@Sabu8000 It's interesting seeing Liane being used for attacking, since she is the only character that can consistently go before this boss on Very Hard (like Corneria vs. Shadow of Oblivion in Sophie), especially if you go into the fight with Firis on red HP. It's possible to beat this boss before it gets a turn if you abuse all the exploits in the game. Liane is the key since she can pull everyone above it using Breezy Aroma with Positive Risk and get a free turn with Full of Spirit if you're lucky. (Firis could use Lich Form so she gets KO'd to dispel the WT/cooldown penalty from Positive Risk.)

She's not great until Season 2, which starts at Chapter 32, not sure exactly when that will be for global. In terms of general damage output, Escha is good enough, and for burst damage, Nelke is usually better. The main reason for Mimi is just that she gives you something to actually work on for endgame, so it'll depend on whether you're interested in farming to make copies of her legendary wep.

The JP players were never really organized like that. Some of the English-speaking ones were on the r/Atelier discord, but everyone stopped played JP besides me, so now it's just a few global players.

I should have Mimi's review up tomorrow night, and Lydie's the day after. The fairies are good, especially the red one. They're the only free chars that you can limit break for free just by doing the event. You may need to buy some tix to get enough candy for level 80, it's probably worth it unless you're willing to wait for a possible re-run at some unknown point in the future.
