Thanks for this timely reminder that no Digital revolution or AI break through can be done without the smart human beings especially the youth being empowered with proper skills of critical thinking and deep understanding of cognitive power with imagination and values, without such bounds AI is going to be disastrous for the humanity.

Absolutely true, the major problem with our education system at the ECCE, Primary and Middle level has neglected the life skills very badly and this has gone into the design of curricula in Secondary and Higher educations too. Life skills have the changing dimensions and levels in life but must form an integral part of the education at every stage. The training of even the employed and serving person need to have updating education to keep up with what are the new age skills as per the change in technology, challenges of the problems and climate. The problem with many of the freebees is that it kills hard work culture, unless it is to help some of the disadvantaged to tide over the difficult times in their life. Nice discourse and very enlightening. There are examples all over the world how even great economies can be destroyed by the Freebees culture and surfeit of such largesse. All these parties should be mandatorily asked to define how they propose to raise the freebees finances and how are they to sustain it? This should be the part of their manifestos.

Any technology that becomes an addiction is bad especially if the user is being captured by the content and even the kind of toxic games. Every technology that has been developed for the lifestyle changes by providing helpful living facilities in communication, banking, document and picture or video sharing thus having huge utility and that is what makes it attractive, highly dependable interface and sometimes even lifesaving device. The only problem is overuse or abuse by becoming too addicted to the various social media interactions. The problem is not with the device or technology but with the excessive, habitual and high-level usage that can cause various physical, psychological and even genetical changes in the user because of radiation exposure.

Unfortunately, in India we have such a slow judicial system especially in case of poor and rural people that most of them are kept in jails because of minor crimes that have lower jail terms than they are held up even as undertrials including minors, women and mentally challenged persons. The various legal forums have discussed, debated and suggested many ways to minimize the undertrial problem but the system is so infested with judicial corruption, police high handedness and lawyers' callousness. Even many PIL's have not been able to shake the judiciary. The recent legal reform may set the stage for a change and letting off those who have already been in jail for more than the term that their crime demands. Thanks for your thoughts on this national humanitarian issue.

Suggestions of collaboration of companies and educational institutions for creations of meaningful jobs is good idea ..but withdrawal of funds by government from higher education is cause of worries for higher dropout rates ..
