There is a list of “Do Nots” here. 👍 For trying.
Another U-Boob Hack, they are called FOOTINGS, Not Footers!
I wouldn't burn the treated wood. I'd try loading kindling into the footing where the wood meets the CMU and light it from underneath. Looks like a good design.
@@yurisich interesting. Wasn't intended to be a self feeding... Just for storage.
simple, effective
What brand of polyurethane did you use?
I found a previous reply. Minwax
@@teamactionbasketball minwax always. Clear gloss
They made the entrance more narrow to prevent people from loading forklifts and things of that nature. Excess weight on those leads to broken suspension.
That makes sense. People abuse uhauls for sure.
Looks like you needed to do another pass or two to me
I’ve been doing this for years. If u don’t have extra wire you can do the same thing with chicken wire fence.
Please use a wax ring as a plumber for 68 years
you are right . that blue ring is junk .. it failed today .
Why when people save money on something they don't use it to pay bills. The first thing is spend it on nails. I seen a commercial when a woman saved a lot of money on her medical insurance and the first thing she said was, now I can go on vacation. What is wrong with people in this economy.
Do you just leave the soiled wood underneath?
@@terrychudson sprayed with bleach, then let dry.
Looks like Jville to me 😉. Thanks for the video and the tip.
@@ScoobyKong no problem. Thanks for watching
@@outofthetoolboxtinker by the way is the Ryobi worth getting ? Did you replace it ?
@ScoobyKong it's worth it for large surfaces and for spraying about 12 -15 ft up on a wall. I have also used the suction tube to pump out a pipe one time. Have not replaced it yet but plan to in a few days
Is plunging a good technique for getting out all the water after shutting off the water supply?
@@J_bui it took care of some of it but not all
@@outofthetoolboxtinker Is there a better technique

Do the staples pop up?
no. have done 3 floors and no issues.
This may be a dumb question, so forgive me if so. How exactly did you secure the hog wire to the ground? I have metal posts/fencing so im trying to see what's the best way to make this work. Thanks for any advice.
@@henryandtosha6721 good question and the video may not have shown it. I used strips of 1/4, but they only lasted two, three years. If I were to do it again, I would use composite... and cover it with mulch. I probably put three or four new bags of mulch a couple times a year
Hey would you happen to know how to tighten the primary chain?
@@brandonjackson2396 the small one? No.
I did something like you did but I'm not getting no signal to the converter the brown wire is the positive and the white is the negative the amp powers up but no sound what am I doing wrong
Could you post the resources used please?
Great idea! Gonna try this out!! Thanks!!

@@BonafideToolJunkie that's cool

Check👍 I thought of doing the same exact thing.
what’er the odds i don’t need any parts but the wax ring?
Anyone got a price range on how much the necessities cost ?
$15
I've went down that road in the past, in my experience even if you get the leak it doesn't last. And since you did such a large area you don't know where it is when it comes back. A tip given to me is don't think of a roof as waterproof, it is not, you can't turn the roof upside down and use it as a boat hull, but think of it as a water shedding system. Work with that concept, not trying to seal it up but make sure water flows down it. Make sure your silicon doesn't prevent or hinder water shedding. It's really not all that difficult to remove the roof tiles in question and replace them. That also is a very satisfying repair. Tiles near the ridge vent however leave alone (I think it's 3 layers there) as that would interfere with the ridge tiles. If you have to do something that close try some roofing cement and lay tiles over the ridge in a perpendicular direction over the ridge itself and hanging down over the tiles in question. Yes that looks like sh.. but who sees your roof, it works.
Yeah this is on back side of roof and no one sees it... Check out my "roof goof " video. Did that silicone almost 5 years ago and no leaks still... And this is a flat roof with standing puddle 90% of the time... Thanks for watching
This is the craziest waste of money I've seen outside of the government
@@aptpupil quite the contrary. Did that roof before the pandemic. No leaks since.
Um, no. $400 for a bucket of silicone? Just get some Henry's...or a tarp.
In my experience, Henry's cracks after a few months. Check out my "roof goof " video. Shows every option.... Did that silicone almost 5 years ago and no leaks still.. Thanks for watching
NP-1 is the only thing to use for that. And it only buys you a few months.
If anyone wants to put wood on the ground like that I wouldn’t even do the job. Do a concrete slab if it’s within a few feet of the ground. Especially this one is just on dirt, if you have to use wood on the ground, at least put gravel or rock under it a few inches to keep water from sitting under it as bad. No hate though, just advice for anyone who doesn’t want to keep dumping money into something like that.
@@sammybranch77 true . Yeah this is a 20 yr old deck and did this as a short term fix. 2 yrs ago and still holding well. Plan to rip all out in couple yrs and do pavers.
@@outofthetoolboxtinker yeah it looks good for the age and the repair looks good too, I just wanted to say other alternatives for a deck or patio that may last longer with less maintenance. Glad to hear it’s holding up😎
Just because it says it's better than wax doesn't mean it actually is you dope. They viewed wax rings and plumbing since it began. Why do you think they do that ?

I just went through this. Used coil cleaner directly into the bottom of the unit, through those side vents, followed by warm water and let the debris run out
