mmmm... not as good as the scores in gog say... 1- a glorified rogue squadron (very arcadish) 2- fire in space... 3- everything has that pink atmosphere 4- mixing some of elite dangerous stuff but sadly, the bad stuff (bad interface) 5- lacks more complex landing (manual landing) on platforms, etc. 6- unnecessary first person moments.

This game looks pretty awesome, but my major reservation regarding getting it is the publisher. They're the ones who did Starsand.. It never really felt like a finished game, and then they just slapped a 'finished' sign on it and called it a day, never to be updated again. Is this a concern for this game?

I hate to be so negative but It looks insanely boring and really no tension at all... So much E, AND the main mechanic you have to regularly consume to stay alive. I don't see this premises working well outside of movies... It feels like The Forest but actually terrible.

"Hold E to loot" they better change that shit mechanic right now if they want a chance for positive reviews. Guaranteed more negative reviews bc nobody in this entire planet wants to go up and hold E every single time for gathering resources and acquiring loot, multiplied by massive amounts of little things that need to be opened.

Research? So, it is a marriage of civilization and banished with life sim. And you need to micromanage each settler? Banished is a settlement sim with rng in population growth and events. And Banished is about space management to minimize traveling time subject to the constraint imposed by the terrain. So, Banished more about placement of houses and facilities and allocation of manpower to make sure all settlers have a sufficient amount of resources to survive and reproduce. Sounds very simple, but still very challenging.
