how I made the LS6 fit in this narrow frame assembly
grandma's 52 Chevy

2002 LS6 with summit 8707 cam, first start after rebuild.
What did you use for top radiator hose. I like that it's a little longer so can work cold air intake around.
I used the flexible rad hose that you can form, has multiple diameter rubber ends so it will fit any size.
@jasonlynch1101 thanks for info. How is holding up? I've heard the couplers wear out quickly.
@@gthomas5880yes they do, you'd be better off finding some 1.5" pipe with the bends and welding up your own. Would look BA too
Love this build. What mufflers are you running sounds really good.
Flowmaster 40 series, dual in and single out.
That thing sounds awesome! I like the header/stainless exhaust tin can sound!!
Nice car…. I’m working no my 52. Does your car have AC? Did you have to modify the frame.
Thank you, and no I did not put AC on, there wasn't a whole lot of room under the dash for it after ECM etc.
Damm that was one ugly ass bike
Where’s the plastics from ?
UFO plastics and MX Island graphics.
What steering column did you use?
Its a flaming river 32", 30" would of been better in my setup for the reason of only using one joint.
@@jasonlynch1101 thank you
Im doing a 51 chevy styline and putting a 6 litre in it. You are the only one ive seen that explains it. I have lots of questions. And would like to see more pics if you have any. What mounts did you use what trans are you running what year 6 did you use?
Motor mounts i just used old school SBC mounta that i welded to the frame and used adapter plates on the LS, so its a solid mount system. I'll try and get you pics. As for trans it's a 2004 4L60E and I used the OG trans mount and welded up my own trans crossmember. If you'd like you can email me lynchjm79@gmail.com and I'll try and get ya some pics.
I also have a 51 chevy styleline deluxe 2door turtle back , I’m thinking about an ls swap . Haven’t seen to many videos. I’ll be cool with a 5.3 I just wish I knew someone that does that in California
@jasonlynch1101 thank you sir.. you have a nice car. I will send an email. Any info would be much appreciated
Great build. I am about to start one similar. I will look to you for some tips / hurdle help.
Heck yeah, keep me posted, I'll help ya with everything I can bud
I'm using the same cam and love the way yours idles; what are the mufflers and rpm does it idle at?
Flowmaster 40 series muffler and it idles at about 750 rpm.
Do you have Instagram? I'd love to see more pictures. I have a 51 that I'm going to start. Bought a LC9 for it to rebuild.
I do have Instagram, but haven't posted a whole lot of pics, if you'd like I can email you pics of the car or if you'd like to see something specific I can take pics for you. The 51 will be a cool build 👍
Sweet ride and appreciate the explanation. Looking to get in to a 54 and so many of the same updates.
You're welcome bud, want anything specific or need more let me know and I'll see if I can help you out.
a ton of valuable information there brother! thanks. I have a 1951 Pontiac streamliner with the straight 8 engine. It spins and I think I can get it to run but not sure if it'll ever be what I want. Considering an LS swap, gathering information at this point. Surprised to find such an obstacle with the exhaust. Especially with stock manifolds
I'd like to connect with you,as I just picked up a 1950 silver streak v8 and i got a fee question...
@@lancemoon3444 hey brother yeah for sure, I'm definitely not an expert on silver streaks or Pontiac either but this is how we learn. I just now saw your message I'll try to stay in touch sooner now. Ask away
@@MidnightOilsRestoration how can we connect outside of you tube if that will work for you..
@@MidnightOilsRestoration thank you
What headers did you use?
Had to make my own, bought 2 sets of LS Swapped G body headers and started cutting and welding.
Your great grandmother would be proud of you for doing this to her old Chevy. It looks amazing! Keep it forevermore and pass it down. Who knows maybe your great grand child will get a hold of it and modernize it in a few decades from now
Did you add the radiator supports on the side of the radiator? If so where did you get them from? Thanks.
I did not, they came pre welded on the radiator. This is a direct replacement from speedway motors. Hope this helps you. 👍
How to put carpet in 1952 chev
James, I'll try and do a video on this for you and the rest of the subscribers.

Sounds great, this cam is on my maybe list. It’s awesome the car has been in the family so long and is now being hot rodded.
Sounds damn good... i thought it was a carbed LS. Clean install
Cool as hell
What size push rods sir
7.4 length and 5/16 diameter one piece, I had the block zero decked and the heads surfaced, on assembly they were perfect.
Very cool
What brakes did you go with?
The front is a mustang 2 heidts kit that came with the rotors and G body calipers, the rear is a disc brake conversion kit for a GM 10 bolt with 4 gen F body calipers. I can't remember the company off hand on the rear.
Thing looks sweet man! Excellent job!
wheels look awesome, What are those?
Thanks man, they are US mag ramblers 18x8 front 20x8 rears. I choose em cause you never see them.
hey im building the exact same bottom end in my car as well... im looking at the 8707 and BTR stage 2 do u get any bucking from ur 8707?
What do you mean by bucking? Driveability wise the cam is great, idle is choppy and pulls hard. I'd did do a 3k stall converter also.
@@jasonlynch1101 awesome thanks for the response im prob gonna do this cam have u gotten any dyno numbers for it?
@@sabornight777 not yet, snowy roads here and I need a alignment still. I will and I'll keep ya posted
@@jasonlynch1101 awesome excited to see the results
@@jasonlynch1101any update
Cool
Subbed. What’s up, homie. Gonna start watching your stuff
Thanks man, wanna see something specific let me know and I'll do a video on it
Nice job looks clean
Beautiful car. Sounds amazing!! How’s the power with that cam?
Pulls hard from about 2500 to 6800
My husband says "it's clean, that's big investment, he knows what he's doing." Good job Jason.
Sounds sexy!!!!
What modifications did you have to make to make the turbo 400 fit?
sphon trans mount, and the turbo 400 fit like a glove.
Jason Lynch ok thank you
