Take r easy. I have lower spine nerve pinch also . You video has nice detail presentation, nice to see view. So many people just show dirt on the trail and swing wildly for the view shot, it’s nice to actually see something for a change.
No training hike. Yes, let's just do it. I do see a "limp" from the camera movement. Just take it easy and your body will catch up. Also, don't carry so much water, there's plenty of creeks on the trail. Welcome to California. 1700 miles of the golden state. Keep on.
Judging by how high your water bottle holder, pack pocket, and GPS are riding, I would say your pack is hanging too low on your back. You may want to get an outfitter to set the straps for you. Does the pack have a hip belt? Most of the weight should be on your hips.
Yes could be, I think I have tried every position possible but the hip belt just sits right wear the pain is no matter what I do. Thx for the comment!!

Yep. We ask a lot of our lower body to do this activity. With good management, it’s still possible to hike a long distance. 🤞
