@@gamerxdung2737 I can believe you because I had the same tune on my B8 A4 which it’s pretty much the same car and I was getting about 5.9-6.1s with the stage 1, the B8.5 though apparently mine was quicker than normal somehow, I was only able to launch at 2700rpms unlike other people at 3200rpms, yet it’s as fast as my stock S5, I also had a bad stock turbo when I did this run…
@@B8_ghostt also what octane rating are you using? Im using 93 octane cause I'm in the U.S. so maybe cause you are using a higher octane level fuel, that made your car faster. I'm not sure cause I'm pretty new to audis and how to upgrade them.
@@gamerxdung2737Im only using 91 octane and I’m in Canada, I tried 94 which I get in a few gas stations close to me but tbh it made absolutely no difference even after switching to the 93 octane file but I probably had to let it adapt for longer and I didn’t but still satisfied with what it did, it’s just my daily anyways idk if you’re at altitude or the waste gate of your turbo is going bad like mine did or maybe carbon build up on the valves, all that can be affecting performance, my car had both bad waste gate and carbon so it was reducing the power besides the fact I couldn’t launch it, I could’ve probably got a 4.7-4.8s with a stage 1 only, which for a 120k miles 9yr old A4 is great honestly
@@V8Drivenit was kind of nice ngl, specially after having the stock 3.5k rev limiter for a while, although the engine itself it’s not a very good sounding engine at all
It was too much so I took it off within a week or less, idk maybe some people would like it but I preferred no pops, small burbles would’ve been nice but it wasn’t an option unfortunately
Yes the 5 speed auto kind of kills this cars, the gears are too long and all the power is up top, the CVT helps it at the top end but it takes off very slow
Hey boss, have you touched the internals at all? I just rebuilt my motor but with stock parts and I’m thinking of going with the boss500 just looking for some insight thanks!
@@Cert.Backyardbs hey ! My car wasn’t tuned to its full potential and it’s fully stock internals, the turbo has been on the car for about 2 years and no problems at all after a lot of abuse 😅
@@Cert.Backyardbsno problem, also not sure if you have an auto or manual, but if you have a ZF6 automatic like I do then I think I would honestly not recommend doing this just because this transmission doesn’t have the adjustability to fully adapt to the extra power like the ZF8 would, I have a JHM TCU and they did wonders trying to make it work, we tried so many files and it still wasn’t 100%, I guess a manual car will only need a clutch upgrade which makes things easier
what exhaust setup are you running

@samwh4775 i don't think the cvt takes off very slow actually it's pretty good compared to a camry v6 8spd it's the same or faster.
