Got a BOV?
What suspension set-up are you running?
All those Porsches yelling NEIN NEIN 1 as you soootootoo by 😈 6
Geez son that is cooking
Love the cheering at the end! 🎉

Awesome video. That’s a blazing fast lap time. I’m going to be running my GR corolla on this track next month. Using this video for reference on some of my driving lines since they’re both AWD.
Great meeting you that weekend! Hopefully we get to drive together another time 🏎🔥🔥🔥
So I was looking for videos to see if i wanted to go to a 2.3 and 20g set up on my Evo, and I just realized that I am pretty sure this is my old car lmao. I would have sold it to you in 2019. If it is, great work man. Im happy to see her tearing up the track. I just bought a silver Evo 8 GSR and I'm building it for this very same thing.
Thanks boogie but I built this car from the ground up. I was hesitant to use a 20G turbo but the spool and power deliver has been amazing!
Not bad at all, considering that the TBSS weighs 1000lbs more. I have a daily 9-7x that is tuned, headers, no cats , exhaust and intake. I also have a GTO with intake, exhaust and tuned, I always wondered how long the 9-7x would keep up to the GTO before it starts walking away
Love it!
Both of these can be had for around the same price, GTO might be a few grand more. I think the TBSS would of won from a dig, they shine with their launches. Either way, hella impressive for a 5000 pound (or close) SUV. FBO, Cam, Headers, Tune and both of those vehicles are in the 11s, at the very very least, low 12s.
Are thoes custom lights on the trailblazer wheels or paint from.the gto?
You need a better camera person. We do not need to see the floor of your car
I have a Saab 9-7x Aero, same as the TBSS, he's giving away a big advantage with his AWD, it hooks up better from a standing start. I think he'd win from a dead start.
Me.mught have only rwd
hope you are enjoying your aero bro, i have to same truck there ain’t many of us out here it might be the greatest sleeper from the factory i torch so many people in the saab lol they don’t ever know what it is
how long have you had your aero ? any big problems?
@@angelred364 3 years, no issues at all. Not my daily driver.
Love the 9-7x Aero! I currently have two , one is for track and I daily the other
Pretty good for the TBSS giving up over 1000 lbs of weight to the gto. Those TBSS are pig's, heavy as hell.
TBSS should have activated cruise control so he don’t touch the pedal and at the 3rd honk just SLAMM on the accelerator and you notice a big difference; to the point that it probably would have kept up side by side…there it is something for the pocket
they both sound slow
Weight difference
Ive dropped turds faster than both dem der vehecals put together. Plop plop turdy turds hitting the waaaaatas. I can say that bc I have a TBSS and it gives me more trouble than my rotary does. Hashtag no pistons
Not bad for 6.0 on 6.0 Tbss was putting it down
i know this is an old video but some people have a misconception of what the difference is between the 1LE LS3 SS and the non-1LE LS3 SS. In factory form, bottom line is, in a straight line they perform the same out the box. Check the numbers on camaro5.com. Timeslips are posted there. In a road course its a whole different animal. The 1LE is by far the superior performer. The 1LE was designed to beat the Boss 302 in a road course and it did it. (What the 1LE SS has that the non-1LE SS doesnt): The 1LE has everything the ZL1 has suspension wise other than the magnetic ride shocks. The 1LE has the exact same differential case and carrier as the non-1LE SS except it has a 3.91 final gear ratio. The 1LE has different rear axles than the non-1LE SS. 1LE has the same wheel hubs/bearings as the ZL1. The 1LE has a close ratio TR6060 (MM6) transmission thats geared way differently than the TR6060 (m10) in a non-1LE SS. GM Did this in order to make 4th gear more usable in a roadcourse. Thats it! They wanted the 3rd to 4th gear shift change to be close enough to keep the motor in its sweet spot for optimal engine response. In order to accomplish this, they had to spread that difference by lengthening 1st gear (lower numerically) 2nd gear and 3rd gear so that the RPM drop would be minimal. I order to balance out the decreased acceleration torque that the closing of the gears created, they changed the final gear ratio to 3.91 to restore the acceleration. Now, the dramatic change comes when you put the 3.91 gears in a camaro that came with a factory manual transmission non-1LE LS3 SS. The TR6060 (M10) in the non-1LE SS cars have significantly shorter gears than the MM6 transmission in the 1LE. Swapping the factory 3.45 to factory 3.91 rear gears on an M10 TR6060 non-1LE SS creates a whole different animal. This is the way the car should have come from the factory. a non-1LE LS3 SS with the only modification being the the 3.91 gears from a 1LE (which GM does offer and covers under warranty) completely destroys the 1LE in 1/4 mile. Its not even close! Seen it. Done it!
sixty9fordkiller good information thank you
What’s up with those gumball wheels?
What's the deal with the TBSS wheels?
Automatics lol..
Ford st lol..
that tbss is awesome! a car that heavy keep up with such small car as the gto. shut up and take my money
the ss has lower gear ratio in the transmission than the 1le but the 1le has a lower final gear that's why a ss with 3.91 gears pull harder
Jonathon Williamson really?
hes spot on. hes right.
r.i.p to my headphones
Huge weight difference and from a roll? The AWD probably make up for the weight difference if they went from standing start....LS1 Fans, Keystone Hood & CAI Box, 100% Meth, LS7 TB, 60# Injectors, 112HH@12#'s, IW 10% 8-Rib & 2.7" RIP, Blower Cam, ARH 1 7/8" Catless, RPM Level VI, 3200 Triple Disk, Stock Motor, 521HP / 546 TQ And still dont think could get that goat from a roll.............
I have an 06 gto auto trans and had it weighed. 3660 lbs. I also have a 07 trailblazer with the inline 6 4wd and it weighs 4500 lbs. Aerodynamics is working against the trailblazer also.

is that rainbow plasti dip
am i seeing things or are the rims rainbow color?
Chester here: has anyone seen my fine ass daughter?
those are some ugly ass wheels
Reflection of yellow gto
@@prjab7339 no they're 100% rainbow
if the tb would have rolled his windows up he would have been with the gto
Impressive nonetheless. For the TBSS to keep up like that with a GTO is pretty impressive.
He got pulled on from start
CaptCaaaveMaaan take weight into consideration ...about a 2k pound difference
And them 4spd is shit
the 3.91 gears helped at the hit,
Put a yank 3600 stall and no cam he would of had you. With cam he could of blown your doors off.! ;)
also the TR2020 in the 1le is Regeared to make it so the 3.91's are almost the same as the 1SS TR2020 with the 3.45 only the 4th gear has a decent difference in MPH
thats entirely wrong. if you go on Camaro5 there is tons of post stating the 1SS is faster straight line with the 1LE.
Ugly fuckin rims on that TBSS
Having a 1LE myself, it is faster than they SS. Seems he was not shifting correctly in this video, because I can easily beat an SS.
a 1le is not easily beating a ls3 SS
I thought the LE was much faster than the SS since it has the 3.91???
It is, seems like the driver of the 1LE didn't know how to shift very well.
***** I want to upgrade my SS to have the 3.91 gears but now I am second guessing if I want to spend the money to do the upgrade after seeing this video. How many car lengths can you beat an SS by granted you can shift well?
crustygymshorts couple of cars, a guy in my car club has a 2010 SS L99. I would say if you can, do a CAM, LT HEADERS, EXHAUST, and you will be good.
***** I have a 2013 LS3. I have the dual mode exhaust already so there is no need to change the exhaust. I don't want to break warranty so I won't change the CAM. I just put an CAI and was thinking to put the 3.91 on since since it will be a GM certified part and will not void warranty. I appreciate the advice!
crustygymshorts Oh okay, lol. Yeah that is smart. You might want to wait until your warranty is up, which is what I'm doing as well. My car is already fast enough, and I don't have anything to prove.
Wow, a lot closer than I would a thought. Is the weight difference not as large as I thought?
no it is lol, i have a 08' tbss and its Registration weight is 6001 LBS. im going to imagine the GTO is roughly 2000 lbs lighter
+brian silva I had a 06 AWD 3lt(fully loaded) and it weighed 5060lbs on a scale. The GTO is prob about 3600lbs
+BLACKLACDTS probably closer to 3800lbs and well over 4K with driver and passenger.
Brian u must have an awd?? My rwd 07 is registered at 4450-4500..
@@RisenNephalem what?! My 07 is 4600 !!! It rated to row 6000!!!! I don’t think the awd is that heavy.. I may be wrong..
I'd like to see this race from a dead stop. Tbss' don't like rolling starts.
Dude should've spent a little more on his motor instead of that stupid ass paint job.
That's either a really fast bolt on Tbss or a really slow bolt on gto.. Gto should be traping at least 112mph and the Tbss assuming its RWD would be at best maybe 105mph
wrong verbage.. but your incorrect. You CAN stretch a rim.
stretched tires. you cant stretch a rim.
Yea big time that was literally my second run and I wanted to see how the track felt. Best I did that night was a 13.2 at 109 with a 2.2 60 foot. I am actually selling the kit if you are interested as I am going LS1 swap. I am on s2ki with same user name. Oh and I vortech supercharged at first dont waste your money on that sir.
have you gotten any better times with this setup? did you baby it because my boy just ran a 13.6 with bolt ons ap2 im just interested in getting the same kit or maybe supercharge if the power isnt great
