Approximately 30 Original Gucci Boys from March AFB were there to watch the Sunset of the KC-10. Pilots, Flight Engineers and Boom Operators. (A lot of grey hair, and so many of us now wearing glasses) I was a FE at March AFB for 8 years, and was an Instructor Flight Engineer at the Travis AFB KC-10 Aircrew Training Center for 22 years. It really was the Super Tanker!

Oh my god I knew I saw this plane!!! I drove right under it on Ellsworth!!!! I had my sunroof open heading south on Ellsworth when I hear this absolutely wave of thunder coming towards me. I look up and see this MASSIVE plane with six engines!!!! And I knew I’d seen that plane before in the movie 2012 and that plane was the Antonov. I knew I didn’t make it up!!!!

I was born in 1952 in a town right next to a SAC B-52 Air base. The noise and shock waves emitted fron these plane truly shook our houses, windows and our enemies fortitude. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

dang nice catch today i saw 2 v22s pass over the beach while i was out so i couldn’t record but they’re pretty common here cause there’s a marine corps base right behind the beach

I worked with some great guys in the 211th National Guard Unit out of Utah. At that time, i went over with L3 Vertex Aerospace. We were in Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan in 2004 and part of 2005 in support of OEF. There were some really solid guys in that unit.

They have been flying over the mine and herriman doing circles for a month or two. I think they are training for tracking targets.
