FYI ,the lifters are actually deactivated (collapsed to kill the cylinder) WITH oil pressure applied from the solinoids,not by removing oil.

Dod LS motors all have high pressure oil pumps. One word of wisdom if you do block off the lifter towers with set screws and re-use the stock valley cover with all the solenoid valves be mindful if they start to leak from seal failure it’s not a good situation and oil pressure will fall.

Great video like all the others on this CHE kit.But How is the durability or longevity on this kit,How often would you recommend servicing this kit with Bronze bushing that is a soft metal,Seems that your quiet knowledgeable about it, so I'm just curious.For street use.Thanks

Interesting concept but poor design & field testing on GM's part! Cant you electronically over ride it or delete it via reprogramming??

Soaked a cylinder head and it turned black over 75% including machined surfaces. Hope it holds up.

I use it to clean my oven works better then oven cleaner without the fumes

I just tried this stuff today on my power steering rack where an old oil leak had coated it. This purple power stuff works so good it's kinda scary

RUclips sloppy mechanics. The guy's got four or five Fairmont builds with LS motors in them. it'll help you with any questions you need answered.
