Looks like Ranger trim on the side.
@@rexspangler4641 correct, ranger xlt
@@evanthebiglargeone if the trim had black on the trim it was a ranger, if it was woodgrain it was a ranger xlt. Ford used these two trim levels 1970-72.

A real diesek GT-R would have been with the 3.0 TDI from AUDI, at least that one sounds like a GT-R
They’re trying to go fast
@@liamross7940 bro, they have 320hp from factory and they are really capable if built right. A big plus would be the weight benefit, smaller engine, aluminium engine block... If you don' care abou weight or dimensions, take the 6.0 V12 TDI with 500hp and 1000nm (740lbft) from factory... It can easily make 1500hp and 2500nm of tourque wich would be 1800lbft... That thing has an iron block but weighs 220 ponds less than a 6.0 powerstroke. And it's 8 inches shorter... Oh and more cylinders equal more power, due to more cumbustions per revolution, so the 6.0 V12 TDI can make more power, despite the same displacement and it will have smoother power delivery, also because of more combustions per revolution. No wonder Audi has won le Mans with that engine 4 times in a row....
The car owner owns a diesel parts company that specializes in 6.0 diesel performance. It runs very strong! There’s always better options but this car is an awesome showcase for their business.

@@evanthebiglargeone thats not horrid, thank you
Thinking about running twin 7875 on my 346” LS. What’s your honest opinion on the turbo set up? To much turbo?
There’s a lot more to it than cubic inch. With the right converter and knowledge with tuning they can work great. My car is spooling much faster with twin 80/75’s vs the single 94mm I had with zero changes to the engine it self. That being said, deciding what your goals are first is the smart thing to do. I like having “oversized” turbos to keep low rpm torque down. I feel these engines last longer/go further if you keep the power band higher. 🤷🏼♂️ Good luck! I may start making more video’s soon. 🤞
@@evanthebiglargeone how big was the exhaust housing on the 94?
@@mike.fleming 112mm inducer with a 1.30 ar. The 80/75’s have a 1.15 ar.
