Congratulation to keep respectfill, i think Adele was unable to maintain leadership and success because she was unable to perform on tour. She seems to impress very well as a shower singer. His voice is amateurish and therefore changes a lot.

Are you seriously going to detract from his entire career and his talent? Why? Why has he sung badly on two or more occasions? All the singers have sung badly or have sung out of tune, that does not mean that she is a bad singer, I have heard her many times live in videos and she sounded great. In the first one where she sang "When we were young", she had the flu, she was sick and you could hear her singing forcedly. Shut up and you have no idea what you're saying, look for videos of her singing live and you'll see how she sings wonderfully, an example of "I drink wine live One Nigh and Only".

Ive been singing in my car seat since the 90s.. usually, 2 hrs a day, not always in traffic but... it looks like John was not working his lower abs. He just tends to lean back into his comfort zone whereas different keys require a change of the plan. I sat outside an open area listening to John from 200 yards away, the acoustics therein was phenomenal allowing John to do as usual. He sounded great with accompanying music etc. I used to sing like Ray Charles because I was a smoker a decade ago. Full voice allowed me to write differently, oft better, not always. I go like A5, A6... I can float about like Smokey Robinson but never like John Legend due to a diff in styles. Whereas Bryan McKnight allows me to mod his arrangements and make his songs better. He has a lot of lame songs, actually. Yet combining a bit of Ray Charles minus the raspity goodness with Bryan's best qualities could be a paying gig. Anyhow, John is at his best when adding to the fun of No Diggity. At his worse, well, we just kinda accept the bad with the good as with Lady Gaga and her Shallows hit.

In truth though...How many people have the perefect ear. You are hearing things many people dont hear.. Its a talent to have that good of ears. Or is it?

She has got to be lip syncing in Vegas...it's not possible for anyone to sing night after night after night using her 'technique'...

I mean pretty sure she has vocal coach and voice trainers Don't they always train with her so she can correct her "mistakes" if she even has one?

It's sad that when a singer becomes famous with poor technique that they seem to feel they can't change that signature sound even when it's hurting them. No one's saying she's not an artist. But it's so important to teach people what good technique is. No one deserves to go through the vocal ordeal she went through before thirty. Good singing teachers need to speak the truth about technique; it is the ethical thing to do. And yes contemporary singers need good technique, not just classical singers. Think of how well Celine Dion's voice lasted with it.

Never understood the hype personally.

We can take as an example "Set Fire to the Rain", which has the verse "Watched it pour as i touched your face". Here, when he expresses the word "Watched" he makes a type of "growl" that gives feeling to that part of the song. As many of us know, growl for beginners, if you don't know how to do it correctly, can damage your vocal cords.

I have noticed she's more hoarse now in the Vegas videos. she still sounds great and she has charisma with everyone to pull no matter what off and she's so beautiful and so likeable with a sparkling personality, everything just goes together. but I did notice that hoarseness this year

When people can't sing but people who also can't sing think they have talent. Adele is embarrassing to music as whole. Those are voice cracks not intentional technique

So I think, she wouldn't be as succesful if she always make the things people think she should. 160.9 Mio. sold albums speak for themselfs. She is what she is and her way to sing make her her. And she goes her way in life and in her singer career.

She tries to sing like she is a contralto, and she uses a lot of vocal fry and over coloring to get her sound. She is a natural mezzo soprano so she sounds the best and has good technique when she sings as a mezzo. She cuts off her resonance trying to sing like a contralto.

Thank you so much for sharing this!! My wish is for all vocalists to study healthy singing. I'm a huge Adele fan!!! Saw her in 2016 at the beginning of her tour. Game changer!!! Her voice is magical and clearly has moved millions. I went to music school as a pianist. Completely different instrument, of course. But, I've had incredible teachers who specifically made a point to share their winsdom on proper techniques that will keep my fingers and wrists safe. There should be more professional vocal coaches who work alongside these lovely young pop vocalists, to help ensure their longevity. It breaks my heart when seeing that by their 30's, one's voice ie completely shot, knowing that healthy singing and a solid vocal coach could have prevented much of the damage to their instrument.

I think she sounds worse now than in the clips you showed in this video. I was listening to her recent shows, and her voice sounds worn out and airy, like she has nodules or something. And she's still pushing a lot, sounds like she's just yelling the notes, instead of singing them. I don't think her voice will last much longer. She's going to end up like Mariah Carey, sadly.

Legend is a bad karaoke singer with atrocious tone no range power or vibrato.Hes constantly flat live and has terrible technique. The poster child for what NOT to do.

She sings as she talks which is one of the big problems plus the monotone sounding songs. She sounds the same now as before just a bit more flat. She sings from the pallet, oh dear.
