Gaming channel that dedicate for turn based RPG, currently working on Low Level Game that nobody cares about or probably overshadowed by more famous one. i'll have new project on 2023(probably)
Grandia - Boss #1 : Rock Bird (Low Level, No Damage Taken)
Grandia has always had a reputation as a game with an innovative combat system but lacked challenging bosses to take full advantage of the combat system. This is coming from a casual player and gaming journalist who is known to be a not-so-good player.
With that premise i thought that this will be interesting Challenge.
As always, rule of the challenge:
Low Level - No random battle exp taken and all yadah yadah
No Damage Taken - This is interesting while the later series acknowledge it. The early one doesn't. Still interesting challenge to do tho.
The rest of mechanics is fair game

Best way to beat them is to use the Orb to Stop time, then go to work lol. This was impressive tho!
Lucky Mink I believe are THIS games version of a DRAGON quest games METAL slime so even if they Don't run away most ATTACKS will either do 0 or 1 point of damage PER hit and they have LOADS of HP to deal with at least 18 but give CRAP loads of EXP IF you can even KILL them BEFORE IT runs away around 14,000 EXP IF you can even KILL a Lucky Mink before it runs away.

with normal recruit you can't, but you can still recruit him by hitting him but not killing him. he will surrender and join your party

Hi, i wanna start new game with impossible difficulty, any useful tips and what build should i use? Thanks
MC build? I think either is fine but the best is around str focused or Vit focused. If you play normally i think there is really no significant different playing this difficulty and expert difficulty. Impossible difficulty is just enemy hitting hard but you can solve this by grinding. Also building your party towardyour mc alignment is recommended because all the boss is really tanky
@@si-level i see, do passwords still usable in impossible mode? and is demon compendium price still normal? cause usually they crank up compendium price on other smt games.
@@nawee242 yes, i use a lot of password demon to escape from battle. I actually never use compendium in impossible and only use few times when dealing shekinah. So I dont know lul. The main reason I do this video is because I finish this game in expert mode with few fusion...

I liked Jonathan's English VA, he has a very soothing voice. The Japanese VA is also very good but knowing one of the characters the Japanese VA voiced gives me conniptions.
I think Tenkai was an interesting boss. He isn't very hard hitting but sturdy due to him resisting everything except Almighty. He is there to question the player's alignment, a neat idea. Besides that, if I remember correctly, answering Tenkai's questions with the answers that fit your alignment gave you a stat boost.

There is lot of different things. Like new ending, new dungeon, new subapp, new final boss, new character named alex, new voice acting, new difficulty settings. In original strange journey you locked on normal difficulty, new difficulty like expert(hard) and the one in the video is impossible (very hard). Impossible only available in NG+

trivia fact, i actually want to create two version of this boss. the one with angelo use regular strategy, while with 3 people it use poison strat, but this video is too good to be deleted. not only it show trap box ai desperate measure to kill my party as soon as possible but also show my decision to increase yangus humanity turn out to be not mistake (you should ignore yangus humanity tho)
