I think at this point Billy was great at balancing his artistic needs with what his fans wanted. Like, the setlists from this era tend to be full of super obscure b sides and outtakes, but they include the perfect amount of singles and famous songs to pull in the casual listener who doesn't even know most of the non-single songs, and make them hear the rare songs they never knew.
