Riding my bike with out helmet was definitely not the smartest decision, but I met a lot of people along the way en nobody ever told me that (I also didn't have a helmet so it wasn't really a choice). Luckily I didn't get finned. Thank you for telling me that so I will know in the future.

Thank you! I can definitely recomend it. Long distance 0 experience. But when i lived in the Netherlands i rode my Bike often but never more then 20km. The track is very flat in the beginning and the climbs are tough if you are inexperienced but definitely doable.

@@lihchen5405 if you want to get the stamps you need to buy a bicycle passport. You can do so at the store where you can rent the bike. Just take your time while cycling an plan your route well so you don’t have to stress at the end of the day to find a place to sleep.

As far as I have seen and been told, it depends on the area you want to live in. But in general I would say Perth is extremely safe. I have stayed with People that never lock there door even if they are gone for the week. That was a bit of a culture shock for me 😅

@@thedutchnomad3544 there is not a lot to see along the way,,,Broome is 900 km before Kununurra (stay on the bus). Kununurra is wet, green, tropical, and is just finishing off a really good wet season; all the waterfalls are happening now! The agriculture is numerous, always something, no car required, employers bus backpackers from town to their farms, or even better if you can camp on the farm. Final word, make no mistake this is black fella country - a bit of culture shock will be likely. Get the f*ck out of Perth before it devours your soul. The real australia beckons :)

Working on a cattle station is not a good way to see the country overall - but it is a great way to see a certain type of Australia - classic outback style, horse riding, cowboy hat, full immersion, steady pay, visa perks, profound personal change - ? - it is all station country, hundreds of them - living history - and they attract a certain type of euro tourist - inevitably meeting their wives or husbands and becoming a bushy for life.

@@thedutchnomad3544 no. I had not cruised for 5 years. In my youth I used Holland Anerica from NY to Bermuda from 1974-1989. Then Carnival to Alaska. I think Celebrity is top notch. Keep cruising. I'm hooked again.

Yeah the weather was a bit taught but I really enjoyed my time and I will definitely come back one day! Yes I’m from the Netherlands but not specifically Amsterdam.

@@thedutchnomad3544 ah okay, I had the lovely opportunity to briefly visit your country too a few months ago, but it was limited to amsterdam, for 4 days. So I had longer time there compared to your 50 hours in KL, and I really enjoyed being in the beautiful city, amsterdam with its wonderful trams and amazing countless cyclists! 👍😍

Yeah KL is really big I did my best to see it all in 50 hours but didn’t even come close! I will definitely come back to see more.

@@thedutchnomad3544 In KL, the only multi-nationality that is not found in any other country, but it is not suitable for those who are interested in beaches and unique culture because it is far outside of KL, but it has something that attracts the interest of travelers to come back again.

Yeah Malaysia was really cool! I flew from Perth to Malaysia and from there to Abu Dhabi and then to the Netherlands
