Weirdly got through the game without the Fabricator and Storage modules - usually the first modules a player finds.

Getting a pet sea monkey or snow stalker would have been great - unfortunately they didn't go that route.

You want the storage, fabricator, and docking modules - and maybe the aquarium. The others are fun but extraneous (each module makes the sea truck slower). You can make them all but you don't have to go out continuously with all of them. You might make an additional storage module for use when resource farming. Somehow I think you've been passing the fragments because they just look like more seatruck fragments.

That grow bed makes it seem like your base is on fire.

Multi-player mod never worked. There are Subnautica (original) mods for more hot spots on the pad and having the fabricator pull items from all inventory in the base (not just your personal storage).

There is sea crown in the wild - just hard to find. The game logic is you opened 4 portals in the upper facility - (though you didn't use them) each leads to a zone where one of the enzyme plants is found. You also opened the gate that leads out of the containment to a rather desolate zone where few plants are found - but if you go back to the containment there are a variety of plants - which you probably should check before going on a wild goose chase.

Sorry, man. I've seen so many playthroughs where it didn't happen I thought they'd fixed it. Wish I had warned you sooner. Not sure what causes it - probably a sequence of events - maybe the dragonfire at the containment facility, the health of the prawn when you leave it there and it could be that it'd the exact same spot.

This is a safe area. Way back in the early release of the game a guy parked his sea moth about midway between the entrance ramp to the ship and the edge of the ruins of the bow of the ship. He emerges from his excursion inside the Aurora to see the reaper come into the area (where he thought it was safe) attack and destroy his sea moth. Then the reaper did a little victory dance - 10 feet up in the air before going back in the water. They fly now. I think it was a glitch - but we know they can phase through walls sooooo.....

What fresh horrors await us here? About 15 of the reaper leviathans in the game.

WARNING: There was a noted glitch in the entry corridor of the power station slowly swallowing the prawn - it was reported so it MAY be fixed. Be careful, keep it away form any forcefield door - farther in the power station SHOULD be safe (I guarantee nothing). If the glitch happens there's really nothing you can do - with the feet already in the floor I don't remember if you can even access the storage.

Grappling arm = spider prawn (may require some practice) - if you maintain the drill arm and add the grappler you lose the ability of the prawn to pick things up - but you can do that yourself if you're in the reinforced dive suit.

You bypassed the power station. Look at data on alien facilities on your pad and look for green in an environment of brown and red - harder to see than you'd think.

My favourite game ever

I finished CoD 2 campaign finally and man is CoD 2 such an incredible game that holds up well, especially with the merciless mod which gives the game a much more visceral feel. I’d like to try Medal of Honor Airborne at some point though, looks cool!
