Snetterton 300, Rover Tomcat, 1st April 2012 Trackday
Rover Tomcat testing new HD cameras at Snetterton on the 300 circuit. A good mix of cars led to some fun, with passengers loving the Rover up against Porsche, Ferrari, Atoms, Caterhams and Lotus Exige.

In car with David Roberts' Rover Tomcat. A big turnout led to split grids and an opportunity for class C cars to achieve a podium. Despite overheating the tyres early on, the Tomcat recovered with a great final two laps to take third overall. (www.eurosaloons.co.uk)

In-car footage from David Roberts' Rover Tomcat. A greasy, damp circuit led to a high number of offs, including my own "incident" at the end of lap 1 - ouch! However, the Tomcat recovered overtaking 10 cars (including the Tomcats and M3's) to finish second in class. [One of the original Dunlop Rover Turbo Cup cars from the early nineties race series based on the Rover 220 Coupe.]

Returning to LMA from BTCC, Simon is enjoying the Seat Leon Cupra. He has a good battle with Andy Morrison's similar Leon, before retiring with a misfire. Simon admits he wants to get more speed from the car - sounds promising for 2009! (www.eurosaloons.co.uk)

LMA Euro Saloons opening race of 2008 at Snetterton. On-board David Roberts' Rover Tomcat for a frenetic first two laps. Some great results and reliability from the Tomcat earned David 2nd in class C for the 2008 season. Hey I like ya Tomcat and your driving style! So I have a few question since my dad said i could have his Tomcat to turn into a track car, Could I ask what horsepower/kw how much you've spent on the car and what you're running underneath and your suspension exhaust system, differential etc. Also tyre size, tyre type e.g slick semi slick and so on. Also do you still get Torque steer?
