Schön, mit dem besten Song von DCS. :) Werde demnächst wohl auf Deinen Controller für mein SFX wechseln, da ich mit der eingeschmuggelten OpenXR Motion Compensation irre werde, seitdem ich von Pi8kx auf Varjo gewechselt habe. Hilft wohl nur noch SRS oder FlyPT. Auch die DIY Plattform ist top. Aber bei rund 300Kg Gewicht am Rig leider nix für mich. :( Kamen die Glitches zum Ende im VR vom EMF wegen der wild liegenden Strippen?
Question from a novice; is the S-bend in the rods a stylistic choice, or does the shape of the rods affect the movement in a way that differs from straight rods? I'm just starting to learn about these and am curious about design choices. Edit: looking again it looks as though they enable the upper platform to be smaller than if straight rods were used, but that could just be an optical illusion created by the angle I'm seeing it from.

Thats awesome the 3DOF rig I had had quite a bit of backlash. sold it and interested in building my own. I'm just trying to decide if 6DOF that much better than 3DOF for sim racing.

Hi! I just find your Motion4Sim Controller and I am curious, what is the difference between yours and Thanos' controller. You have a better housing design for sure :D
thanks for asking there are a lot of functions that our controller provides. we can do up to 600 khz pulsing and use the full native resolution of the aasd servos which leads to a much smoother running of the motors and a much smoother movement but still at full speed, especially with large actuators. some users also report that the leadscrews runs a lot quiter with higher pulse frequency. we also use a fast microprocessor which makes it possible to calculate the motor positions of the rig geometry for most rigs and additionally a complete filter system with an effective spike filter all easy to use with just one encoder on the handheld. we also have countless functions such as belt control with automatic homing/ and easy realtime position adjustment with only few encoder clicks or automatic shutdown after a timeout. we have software dashboard to control and configure all functions now even with game interface so that a few games work plug and play with motion maybe you will ask in detail to . info@motion4sim.com

There is black box module in Mover which is quite good for people that do not want to dig deep with the filters…

Where can I get one?
If I understand correctly the Motion4Sim kit is the controllers for the servo motors in a 6DOF system as opposed to the entire 6DOF system itself. In which case you have to build it yourself or utilise a solution that includes the kit (e.g. the MotionXP platform) which is not I believe the one shown in the video…. Perhaps @motion4sim can clarify this as the question does keep coming up understandably….
yes there is motionxp on the other hand which you can google its using larger linear actuators and we cooperate and my approch of 6dof which is ultra compact both using the motion4sim controller. the m4s motion controller is ready for most of all diy servo and stepper systems. the 6dof shown in the video is my development and is available as kit if you connect to me. motion4sim@gmx.de
