I decided to try and compact my 20 years in the vfx industry into 20 seconds, here are some highlights. I was inspired by friend and former colleague Chris Smallfield, who did this last year, so full credit goes to him for the idea!

It’s not sliding?!?
Awesome!!🔥
thank you for sharing this content. one question. Is there a way of building poly groups like in zBrush or to save different masking selections?
Sick
I just started trying to use it on my Ipad, but I've been running into funky things with the current version.. When I merge them they move apart from where I put them and are offset. When I got it to merge successfully it wouldnt let me remesh. Do you have any advice for the current version to merge and remesh objects?
Thank you! Lifesaver 😀
got me a ipad and forger and a ton of apps... i tried blender before a couple times and forger is very similar but i get along with the pen alot better than with a mouse :D i wish there were more tuorials
How do you pull up the menu that slides out
Wow, I learned so much just now, thank you!
That’s fucking amazing
version 14 Feb 2022: Objects > hold/ keep your fingertip on the "sphere" and then, the "Rename/DUPLICATE/Delete"-menu will appear.
thanks this also made my cylinder sculptable! I was looking everywhere for that
thank you so much! i was so confused for so long looking for it 😭😭😭
But, more than 1 photo at the same time? So that I don’t have to constantly change?
But, more than 1 photo at the same time? So that I don’t have to constantly change?
How do you make a cylinder with the bottom half smaller than the top? Kind of like a cone with a flattened tip?
How
Why does it not show me the option to go to the objects
Very informative, thanks Adam!
Lovely
nice!
Nice tutorial , but ... why all tutorials about sculpting contains some scary figurines? World is so beautiful and everyone always choses the scariest part of it ;)
Just enjoy the tutorial FFS
This is what is beautiful to him. Scary things are based on opinion
My hypothesis is because the visceral and grotesqueness offers a big challenge to a sculptor due to a large amount of detail it takes to make them, and they display the scary figurines in they’re tutorials as a proof of concept of they’re skill.
Thank you so very much
Great Work!
🔥 LOVE the video! Forger and Nomad have been MASSIVE for me with 3D sculpting. I'm uploading LOADS of this content soon. I'll be sure to keep my eyes on your channel. Subbed.
Do you think you could make this I’m forger??
Hey man, saw the post on Facebook. Would love to see more from you. Thank you for the free content.
Rolando Benjamin Lim great to hear - will endeavour to record more
Wow you sculpt so nice..how you put the grass...
thanks, the grass is fibermesh - you just mask out the area and apply it, the grass look is actually one of the presets that comes with zbrush, its all covered in the course! i think udemy has it at 13.99 right now, which is about 70 percent off
How did you get the image to stay still?
I've been having trouble keeping the image to not move
Ty
This is amazing, you’re very talented
This is awsome mate, keep up the good work!
I know this is a really nuanced application but I love the videos you share. Super helpful, man.
look solid
Wow, this looks awesome. I would never have expected an iPad to be capable of producing such a high quality Sculpt. Just out of curiosity. Is there a way to tell how many Verts or Polys this Sculpt has? And if yes how many are there ?
Yes there is a total in the corner of the screen
Liked and subbed, surprised you don’t have lots more subs. Any step by step would be great for a more complex character like this one. Thanks
Will try and do a couple more guides
adam thorntondewhirst thanks. I’ve moved onto zbrush now. Sure it will be helpful to others tho. 👍
Thank alot hope share more good luck
If you could would you explain how you made the earrings pleeeeeeeease I have been trying to make thin circle
PokeTrainerDavid would love this information also. Just started using the platform. Thanks
PokeTrainerDavid hi. I discovered how to make the rings. Maybe not the same way. But I use the torus shape and use the move brush with symmetry from the inside out. Remesh after to bring the shape back if needed. Hope this helps
I used the torus shape and a reverse inflate with symmetry on
Please how can I color the model and get it out the best way
There is a colour brush and you can save a triangulated mesh .obj to your iCloud
Thank you
I’ve gotta start using image placement Great work!
Still having problems but this helped! Thanks
i wish give you second like for metallica ;)
This man is a modelling genius! - Independent member of the public
Great inspiration! kudos!
Lovely Sculpt. I'm a Zbrush guy but i love the simplicity of Mudbox, especially when it's a nice Sculpt like this one. Too bad there's not much of high quality work in Mudbox on RUclips.
Metallica,nice work
To avoid the crash like you had in 7:28 ,when you was making the tongue. After you make some kind of deformation via Scale/Translate, go to Edit> Freeze Transforms, and voila.
Let me give you a tip when you are using the Mud retopo: Before to make the retopo, when you have faces extremely elongated, is better use the smoot or relax tool over those faces, and next make the retopo. This way avoid to obtain the glitches in the retopologized mesh, like happened to you in 1:35
I cant believe this video only have 4 likes and 92 visualizations!!?? Is wonderfull!
Sergio Mengual thanks very much - that's very kind of you!
I feel so funky
