I just today finished restoring my M Gator. They are fun machines .. I rebuilt mine for the missus as she wanted a side by side and these ya cant tip over Built way more sturdy than the modern plastic stuff.
Can you use DOHC 16 Valves(Hilux Engine) in it

Oh and dont forget the filter under the first main bearing this filter is for the turbo oil feed, i removed mine and fitted an external in line filter, makes more sense to be able to get to it to clean it
Always use the gear type oil pump and always inspect the oil squirters that cool the pistons, nice job lads
